Anyone else getting mad lag like on the server side? I am getting pings around 50ms range but just has been so spiky for me that I can't enjoy a game.

So I tried a couple new builds with necro today in bot games.

One with dagon leading into scepter. And another with mjolnir leading into scepter.

Dagon is great to ensure kills with your ult, making him a good ganker. Mjolnir has the chain lightning which is great in teamfights because it will always go off and kill a random creep, giving you good regen. The chain lightning has great synergy with Necros passives.

However I havent really been able to solve the issue of his movespeed issue. Force staff and drums are viable, but im not really sure where I would fit them in both builds I got. After scepter id get sheep stick/shivas guard for the ganking build and heart for the carry build.

Also maelstorm is a bitch to farm considering necros terrible last hitting ability without his nuke.

One thing I've noticed about meepo is that 40 or so minutes into the game I tend to have all the items I need, as well as enough gold for a couple buy backs. Should I be letting the other people on my team get the farm from pushing the lanes? At some point it feels like I'm leeching all the xp and gold at the expense of my teammates falling behind. I've almost lost a few games where I was completely stacked, but the game went on too long and the other team started catching up to me in levels, while my teammates were still around level 19-21.

Once you're fully farmed, you just go ahead and start pushing even harder. If you want to give your team some breathing room you go into enemy jungle and take their camps. Or just go around the map trying to farm heroes if your team needs a bit more time.
 
Just played a game against a Huskar, he had 17 deaths, was doing terrible and I was playing Puck with Dagon 5. Every time he got low and I tried to Dagon him, nothing. Huskar is the new counter to troll items.

Also against Puck mid, he would likely rape, since searing arrows would negate phaseshift and once he got low it would become incredibly hard for Puck to finish the kill, since all of his damage is magic based nukes. Hell, if Dagon 5 can't kill him when he's at 1/10 health, orb sure ain't gonna do it.

Kuroky and Fear are both really good, Puppey is decent, but I'd say Kuroky overall is the one you want to watch.

Well, you can access the rox.kis games from the western qualifier for free in-game, check out the replays where vanskor is playing rubick.

While we're on the topic, is Force Staff vs. Blink a preference thing? Or is there something situational I need to consider (besides Radiance obviously)

Blink is generally for initiation and force staff is generally for escape. The reason being that blink goes on a 3 second cooldown as soon as you take damage, whereas force staff never goes on cooldown (unless you get Doomed of course), which means you can activate it when you are in the middle of the enemy team, as opposed to blink. Also, blink is a lot more precise, which means if you have an ability you need to perfectly position yourself to use, blink is far better for initiating.


I say generally because force is often picked up on a Rubick first and therefore, if you steal a spell like RP which you need to get in close for, then force staff can be used like a blink.
 
Speaking of Huskar, he makes an excellent counter to Lone Druid in a 1v1 lane. Either he feeds you 300 gold every 2 minutes or he is bear-less. Those spears cook his friend up. At 6 you can lifebreak the bear and kill it in about 2 seconds after as Sylla isn't a problem without the constant threat of entangle so he won't be able to do enough damage to you to finish you off. If he tries, you can drop him in a few hits anyway with spears.
 
So just wanted to say thanks for curb stomping the F out of me last night in three consecutive IH matches last night (you assholes know who you are..

Being in the trench for so long, I've forgotten how fast real DOTA is and how the one time I take my eye off the mini map, Enchantress comes out of the jungle and has her Ursa bitches give me the clap.... On the bright side, matches didn't count and playing Storm Spirit kinda has me interested in learning him (I can never get the combo right though...I don't think my fingers are fast enough). Look forward to more IH's

PS- All Random both sucks and blows at the same time.
 
Dying to jungle creeps in the two games I tried to jungle sure was magnificent. In my defense, on the second game at least the creeps had like 20 hp when they killed me.

Also: To hell with the Invoker, I didn't even like Magicka.

Why would pajkatt go butterfly when orange already had mkbs and he needed that desperation rapier.

LGD int. is so hit or miss, win, get stomped.

I find it pretty hard to play ET poorly. That's my record with him, playing as either #2 mid or #4 support. Maybe it's your mindset while playing him.

Play him like a Tide Hunter that you already have a blink dagger for with his W. You want to lurk out of disable range like a tide looking to blink in and Ravage, but where W is your Blink Dagger, and Q is your "Ravage", if you will. Cast the W where you want your stun to go off, and as soon as your Spirit appears, hit Q. It's very difficult for targets to get away if you place it correctly, guaranteeing sleep often times. Drop the ult, walk up...wait until the ult goes off, recall your spirit, and right-click.

It can initiate risk-free, or counter-initiate when the enemy team gets tunnel vision on your teammates in a fight. Sometimes they don't even realize the Spirit has appeared and is about to stomp.

Consider an early Soul Ring so that you can spam your necessary abilities when you need them. Pipe and AC are your best friends.

The only difficulty I've found with ET is playing with people who don't understand how ET's sleep works. They forget to NOT autoattack until the ult goes off, so potential damage is lost. My KDA has fallen. After the first 10 games or so, my KDA was around 11.

Yeah. It's a team game. That's what makes you even more ridiculous. Two of them weren't playing with the team in mind. They cared only for their personal enjoyment, and some of that came from griefing someone who was actually working toward the end goal of winning. Yet, the person to blame for you? The person who raged because of it. Get a fucking clue. Not everyone who acts "nice" is innocent and not everyone who gets angry is a bad person.
You people like to act so rational, but you judge entire personalities by the way people act when they're pissed off, even when they're the ones being victimized. You people aren't as fucking rational as you think you are. Most of you play in stacks and play pampered games and don't even have the perspective of the people you criticize. It's easy to act like a cool, calm, and collected person when you're stomping with your friends.
Almost everyone the community hails as a "rolemodel" for good behavior plays similarly. Deal with the shit I and everyone deal with in high-level solo-queue and then try to be an actual good guy, not a fucking push-over. It won't happen. I'm done. You fake fucks make me sick.
