Kinda glad that I have one, kinda sad to see that it's limited now - such a cool courier. Also kinda wish I had an unusual one now :/

I was digging through the list of console commands here and I found one called 'cl_updaterate'. While the list on the wiki says the default is 20, when I checked in dota, it was set to 30. So I halved it and it may have helped slightly, but I'm not sure.

But you know what else I just noticed? Valve tracks how long you mouseover over store items.

So thanks to the magic of Steam Trading Cards, I was able to get one Unusual Stumpy at $10 about 10 minutes after the patch came out (Orange Piercing Beams Effect) , and purchased 2 more Stumpy's and Yaks with $6 in Huds. So I got 3 Stumpy, one of which is unusual, and 3 Yaks, one of which I had before.

Dota2WH is now out of Yaks and Stumpys :lol

And they had 100+ of each.

Eh, you can't win them all with this speculative trading stuff.

At least I have my one Stumpy even if he's not unusual. And I never really liked the Yak that much anyway, so I'd only be getting that for collector's purposes rather than an intrinsic appreciation of it.

Short term, yeah, there should be people buying them up due to the whole speculative market thing going on. Long term, they will likely be worth $10-$15, there really isn't that many of each of them, so they will command a decent price. I think Stumpy will be the one worth more though.

So far the price of unusual yaks & stumpys has risen by $15-20 but it's at a standstill atm. I'm glad I bought and resold an unusual stumpy when the buying craze began.

I think its something like top 10% of recently played games. Are you sure that game was considered High?

That's always been one of my favorite couriers, so it would be a shame for me to miss out on it if it turned immortal and I didn't have one.

Though my pipe dream of getting one with the Lotus effect may be shot. They're pretty fucking expensive.
