Yeah, Stumpy and the Yak are now immortal.

Ha someone messaged me to trade for it today and I wondered why he was so keen to acquire it. I traded him for a Naga set who I didn't have any gear so that's ok. Removed and blocked none the less though. Don't like people trying to pull over on me :P

Puck is such a fun hero to play, perfect when you're on a bad streak and want to break out of it. 15 - 3 - 17 is always a fun score at the end of a game

First really cool kunkka set I've seen yet.

Gah. Just had a game as SB where I went like 14 and 2 in the first 30 minutes or so but lost anyways because the enemy team decided to roam as 5 so I couldn't do anything after that. And my team was too busy feeding their pudge, guy had like 4500 hp without any real hp items, ie no heart. Its like I give my team 30+ minutes of domination and they cannot farm anything, took 60 minutes for our clinkz to get a mkb after his orchid. Prophet to busy split pushing (and not getting any towers after that 30 minutes) to show up to the fights, oh and he had the mek.

Welcome to the club..had two of those types of games last weekend....one with BH and the other with Lina (took down two sets of racks while all ours were still up...).

Not sure if anyone posted this yet and I'm not sure if Dotabuff already has these features but there's a new stat site out:

http://iforez.olf.sgsnet.se/dotastats/

More about raw matchmaking stats than actual in-game stats, but still pretty neat. Not sure how long the indexing queue is, but I submitted my steamcommunity ID last night and my stats are up:

How did you get advanced stats? Mine only has wins/losses pie chart...oh and it takes forever to get into the system..(over 8 hours)

Haven't played DotA 2 in about 2-3 weeks now. Decided I needed a break, but I'm getting that itch again.

How do people like the changes so far?

Easily my favorite hero in the game. Just so much potential to pull off some cool stuff. Storm Spirit and Clockwerk are also tons of fun, the mobility and combos of their kits are just too damn satisfying.

According to the creator's reddit thread:
EDIT13: For those few of you who have enough matches indexed to display advanced statistics, data about modes played and winrates per mode is now available as well. For an example you can check my profile listed above. The chart isn't too nice, I kinda ran out of colors.

I think the drops you need you can get from playing those compendium matches (from the TI3 qualifiers)

Would be the perfect way to do it if they make it drops. It's an event like Diretide/Greevling sorta, but a TI3 one. And you get upgrades.

just discovered huskar is a stupid strong mid against OD.
taking my int? thats cool, i dont use mana, have some burning spears.

So I was browsing some of the sets earlier today and I had to wonder, why are there separate keys?

They didn't use to have multiple key sets when they had the character specific chests, and I guess it made a little bit of sense when they had special chests and keys for the international. But now that we have a new series of crates every month or so that all have their own special key, doesn't that devalue a regular key? I feel like I'm missing something.

Is there an explanation anywhere as to what the compendium Smeevil do/turn into? What are the upgrades you can get? And how many matches are needed? :L

EDIT: Would anyone be willing to watch one of my matches and let me know what they thought I did wrong and stuff? :)

My id is the same as on here

This Huskar build seems pretty fun, might need to try it out: http://www.playdota.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1340641

Gave it a good go tonight.

Enemy comps:

Game 1: Lycan, Weaver, Sniper, Jakiro, Bristleback

Game 2: Tinker, PL, Earthshaker, Nyx, OD

Game 3 (most recent): AA, DK, Pudge, Warlock, Invoker

Last game was a legit 4 hard disables, cold snap, deafening, etc. and usually I was yoloing leading the charge, so I was getting all the disables. It simply didn't matter. It was like...if they couldn't kill me with the chain disables, they were all going to die. Only reason I died in the last match at all is because of the AA ult. The only reason. I consider that team comp probably one of the worst comps to go against (several stuns/quasi-stuns). Outside of simply dealing with better players, an enemy comp won't get more challenging for a chronically low-hp hero like Huskar. Or, it would only get easier with typical pub team comps.

I hereby certify Ghost Scepter Huskar as legit broken.

What do you do when you encounter a hard laning combination against you?
Should I go for last hits and denies or just leech the exp?most of the time the salve and tangos are just not enough...
And if so how could I come back later in the game without the initial farm?

Buy Midas anyway, profit?

This game was hilariously awkward for me. Midas was the only thing that kept me from being completely behind. When about 3/4s of the early-mid game team fights went down though, I showed up a bit too late, so I never got XP/Gold from them. And this is coming back from a Gyro/WD lane (two ranged) vs. two melee, plus they had the Drow aura. Was absolute hell.

I would like to know this too, too often I get harassed, usually when playing melee and end up buying multiple salvos because the opposition is intent of making my game a misery

depends on what the enemy lane comp is doing to make life hard. If they're dangerous enough to keep you from getting cs, have your lane mate or jungler pull so that you can get some tower coverage. If that's not an option, try to block your lane creep waves to get them closer to your tower. Worst case, get your xp and the occasional last-hit when safe. Getting 1cs isn't worth half your HP bar, so if the lane has that kind of damage output potential, stay back as far as you have to. If you can't even get XP, go somewhere else. Go to the jungle or to the other side lane. Stack and pull in the jungle. Don't just stand there not getting XP *or* cs. It's not helping you and the enemies in the lane are going to free farm either way.

Also, if possible, maybe someone switching lanes with someone else will alleviate the imbalance.

This is true, but mid/late game OD will obliterate huskar. OD not only has the massive pure damage from his orb, but he can arcane orb Huskar at the start of the fight, drop his ult, and then finish husk of with an orb or two.
