I hope he got some good cash over this (yeah right).

Didn't they do pretty well in the TI3 qualifiers? I'd say they're at least C-tier

Well they are shit-tier now.
Maybe they can join some pinoy league as an ofshoot

Shadow Fiend sold his Shadow Blade at the end of the game to get a crystalis.

Me and a friend (SB) decided to not give more fucks and played Breaker+ Gyro ganking squad. Rushing shadow blade and Aghs (he would get one after BKB).

I have never had more fun in dota than that game, shadow blade is so great against unorganized teams.

Just had a game where I was Mirana in safe lane.

At the start of the game we got tri-laned by Clockwerk, Skywrath and KoTL so our Sand King played hard support (pulling, warding, dewarding).

We had a Nyx and a Gyro, but Brewmaster went mid. Clock and Sky left to gank mid twice and we pinged and called it. Basically they raged at us for not ganking mid saying it was our job, and that Sand King was a noob because he was underleveled. They said that in pro games bott safelane ganks mid and mid doesn't gank. I called BS

Is that ridiculous? Or were me and Sand King just wrong?

If you are losing in trench, rule of thumb is to blame someone else.

Buncha idiots playing dota

Real life, real job

Why is it big? They are a D-tier team not going anywhere.

Not even money, go home vlat, ur drunk

How so? Easy rares, easy life.

All you do is spam.

Haven't been able to play since last patch, what does winning compendium match give?

Or is it simply a fun way to see pubbers fail with pro drafts?

Ugh trying to play Silencer and it's hard for me. Usually play support. I read the guides on Dota Buff but I'm having issues performing well. I try to initiate team fights but the team starts running away and leave me to die.

I try to time my ulti well to prevent the other team from stunning use form the start and I follow with Curse of the Silent since you are forced to take damage since you can't cast.

I check my Mana pool carefully not to autocast the glaive and run out of mana early on. I think the issues is that the build I'm following are a bit too defensive. You need talisman early on and to get a meka then a forcestaff.

Grats. How is the particle effect?

The new chests have old particle effects, so newer couriers can have some of them. I guess. It may just be a bug. I got Frostivus Frost, which is fine enough with me because Cluckles previously couldn't have this effect.

Well, if you're interested in a somewhat stupid game (Aghs/Refresher), I have a decent replay for you.

I believe Silencer is usually played as a counter-initiator. Stay behind your team and wait until the teams are committed before using your Global Silence. That means you will let some stuns through, but it's better than blowing your ultimate to no effect. (If you're in a well-coordinated team and also have a true initiator who can force a teamfight, you can support your teammate's initiation.)

By "usually play support," you mean you're playing a support Silencer, right? That's how I always play him. Your item progression sounds similar to what I build, unless someone else wants to carry Mekansm; in that case I get Force Staff -> Rod of Atos.

Just out of curiosity, when you steal Eclipse from Luna as Rubick, do you get the damage based purely on her ulti level or does it include her Lucid Beam level as well?

It is based on her current level of Lucent Beam and the ult's level. If it didn't include any Lucent Beam levels it would do zero damage.

Bristleback, OD, and Necrolyte is a ridiculous combination, especially if OD has a Mek. I never thought to try that combination before. BB and Necro can freely spam while OD is around, sustaining the whole team, letting Bristle fight forever. I had a Mek and they could only kill me once. Every time I got doomed Warlock would just heal me and I would be fine, Mek after it's over, and I'm back in the fight.

Also Gibs (Bounty Hunter) suggested something to me early game, to get a Buckler very early for more Essence Aura procs. Didn't think to try that, so I did it and it worked out well.

Note: Many sanities were eclipsed in the making of this Doto.

We ran Necrolyte in a TMM game today. The amount of staying power that hero has is absuuuuurd as long as he gets last hits on heroes. He regens so many hit points and mana and can keep the pain flowing. Fantastic hero, would play again.

Necro is an example of a hero that people constantly call one of the weakest/worst heroes in Dota, but is perfectly viable in the right situations.

I love playing support, but the stuff you have to put with sometimes when supporting is ridiculous. Some people don't seem to realize that you don't get infinite starting gold when playing support. They also seem to assume that by playing support you can be everywhere at once. Defending top tower alone? No, you should be warding our jungle in bot where our Doom is jungling and can't be bothered to look at the mini map. And sandking dying 17 times must be part of some masterplan I wasn't aware of.

Some games are just so demotivating :/

Random thought: I still feel like my biggest problem in general is map awareness, and I thought of a random idea that might help with that: Casting.

Perhaps I could cast a GAF IH or a pub or something, stream/upload to YouTube, take criticism on how I do. My biggest problem with map awareness is not clicking around or looking at the minimap enough because I feel like it's too much of a hassle and I feel like something bad might happen if I take my eye off my own hero for one second even.

What do you guys think?

I love playing Necrolyte, such a fun hero. Maybe he's not very good in top-level play, I don't know - but he's great at my level. My last game with him:

Tutorial map 2 better be jam packed if they plan to release it in a month. I thought 4 maps would cover everything

As someone who generally plays the support role 99% of the time, I can tell you that the mute button is your friend.

A couple days ago there was a dude who within 5 seconds into the game was barking orders at the supports to buy wards and the courier...going as far as specifying who he wanted to buy what. When I told him "Yo, we got it"...he replied with "No you don't". This was literally 5 seconds into the game! That dude was on mute immediately, and we did great that game.

I try and accommodate reasonable requests, but you do need a bit of thick skin to play the role. A lot of people think that if you aren't doing specifically what THEY think you should be doing, that you're bad. Mute!

I speak a lot on the mic, and ping on the map with relevant data. Calling items people may be building if its important (blink dagger, BKB, etc), calling missing, stating if my lane needs a gank or if we're losing it bad.

I find that just doing these things should show people that you know what's up, and at that point the only typical complaint will be that wards aren't up. Knowing that I'm generally always buying wards when they are off cooldown, a casual reminder that they are on CD or on the way or about to be planted should cover it.

Over communicate, liberally mute.

Oh my god. Orange.Net just had one of the best epicenters I've ever seen. Channel -> blink to high ground above rosh pit, then 3 man burrowstrike with nowhere to run. And a Kunkka boat from the other angle to seal the deal.
