Im excited at PoTM Bottom!

I figured you might be ^_-

Oh and the other Ayesee drinking rule: If Ayesee starts story-time, you finish your drink. Maybe finish another drink while you're at it.

Also - when did EG last throw? Today, when Demon got an Aghs at ~20 minutes, but has failed to drop a single ultimate 15+ minutes later

Not a throw when the other team is playing perfectly.
Nerf goblak please

Was Warlock picked before or after Mirana? Man never pick him when there's a hero that will/can pickup diffusal... I sure learned that lesson haha

Well yeah, the had pretty much perfect execution with the much harder to execute team. The SD and PotM pickups after the 4th pick Warlock were pretty genius though. And of course, the offlane Viper that had some pretty crazy farm just cleaning fools up.

It totally feels like Goblak is gonna destroy Rattlesnake. Kinda funny how Rattlesnake are considered innovators in the Eastern scene, but they are not even close to Quantic in that regard.

Man Aui really loves the Naga. Not that I disagree. Think she's been underrated since the (fairly minor) nerfs after TI2. You probably don't want her as your sole carry anymore, but run as part of a dual or tri-core, or even as a support she can be very powerful. Net and song alone are so good, even if she's not pumping out tons of damage.

---

But I think Dignitas got caught off-guard by the last pick PL. They don't really have anything to deal with him. Probably an outdraft. Depends on how much they can get done early. If it's not effectively over by 30 minutes, which seems unlikely with Weaver/Naga, I don't see how Alliance can lose with their lineup.

Maybe she was underrated but the whole reason she is back is cause they reset her riptide cooldown. She pretty much wouldnt ever get run mid or in an aggressive tri without it.

Radiance build doomed them. Had Aui gone with real items, they could have gone 5v5 instead of 4v5 and capitalized on the early map control, with a decent chance of breaking the base early and snagging a win. You can't win if you only play PvE, who knew?

Does this mean Navi are out of Dreamhack, or in the loser's bracket or what? So many tournaments with different rules I can't remember which ones are instant knockouts and which ones are segmented into stages :/

Can't believe they lost to Dignitas after a 22 game win streak. Not a team worth losing to.

Dignitas can beat anyone in the world-including the top-tier Chinese teams-when Aui and Sneyking are on their game. The problem is that Sneyking especially is a very inconsistent player, sometimes he's an insane playmaker and sometimes he flat out feeds. Compare and contrast with s4.

I don't get the Weaver pick in G1 of this series though. The Naga Siren radiance /split push idea wasn't a bad plan, the problem was doing it w/o having a lineup that could gank PL.

The issue in both games was roughly the same, they had absolutely no ability to initiate and lock someone down and blow them up. Even the first game when they had batrider, I don't remember seeing one successful bat initiation. The second game they had no hero that could even fill that role.

Meanwhile in both games s4 got one perfect initation after another, locking down multiple heroes with cogs and dream coil.

My jump to conclusions pad says that concept art is probably shadowfiend from before he was made.

The green coloration makes me think of the dead gods though, perhaps terrorblade's demon form? I would prefer a demon form that made him corrupted and twisted from his base form though.

If that concept art is new and recent, I think it leans more toward a new hero. I've never seen a hero massively remade since I've been playing dota. The closest would be lion and all they did was touch his face and skin color, nothing major with his model. I don't even think SF is that bad off, slardar could probably use a new model before he does.

I've said it before, but Alliance's biggest strength is that it's nigh impossible to "win" a draft against them. Your bans are mostly ineffectual. You can ban solely vs. Bulldog who is the most limited, but even if he ends up with a bad game you're going to be giving up 2-3 other very dangerous heroes. Everyone else is too versatile to be pushed out of their comfort zone.

Are we sure that the game will boom? At least I had the idea that everybody who wanted to play the game already has a beta or plays lol

But I'm not sure either,so that's why i'm asking

not sure if the Asian market counts in Steam numbers (don't they use some other client?) but that would be a huge playerbase
