Basically you'll have a ton of shitty Techies on your own team that will make you wish you were never born, and then you'll run into a godlike Techies that makes the game more frustrating than ten maxed out Phantom Lancers punching your towers.
Are Techies really easy to play improperly or something? Like game-warpingly improperly?

When are the new heroes gonna be release? It seems like forever..

Right, I get what they do but at worst they're what, a dead weight?

At worst they feed just like any hero, but a well played techie will ruin the other team's game. You can't move anywhere on the map without a gem and even then, cleve use of high ground/woods blocking vision you can still kill people.
Ultimate turtling hero.

I think I'm going to like this hero. all between 600-900gpm. first time I've really given her any attention. I think I'm going to give her more attention from now on...

satanic was on the courier, but I forgot the recipie in the backpack before sending the courier to me, so it's not pictured. I had to send the cour back and it didn't make it in time. :(

My goddamn arms hurt. Not a carrying joke either, that was pretty taxing on my poor shrimp noodle arms. Had to go out of my way to spend all the gold I was pooling, that shit catches up with you so damned quickly on Tinker. Got what I wanted out of my lane pretty convincingly, so I rushed my BoTs in about 10 minutes. Went straight Sheepstick, followed by me trying out Eye of Skadi. Turned out better than I thought it would, piles a ridiculous amount of additional mana into my pool (boon for getting off additional Rearms in fights and pushes). Finished things off with a Linken's Sphere to get my regen to more fittingly match the sorts of mana I was playing with.

I always feel that way after a long Tinker game. I know that feel.

That smurf queue's high and Very High, sir!

zzz, my smurf queue is trench and very trench - wanna see a 1v5 loss replay. JK, impressive - most impressive

It's tricky. There is a balance. . . .Dota's a competitive games, and people are deeply invested in it, so losing is not fun, but the people who are winning are probably having a lot of fun. We don't want to dampen both sides of that equation. One of the things we never want to lose is the amazing comeback, like the game we just played - both sides probably would have surrendered in that game at certain points. That would have been a robbery of fun.

Oh volvo, why don't you respect us trench and let us concede in peace. The last minutes of every game is a flame/blame war. These comebacks you speak of don't exist for the bottom 10% of players.

Who to throw in the creek, the bottom 10% or the top 90...

To be serious though, I don't think anyone would really object to a new player queue (what happened to that, by the way?) having concede. Training wheels for a training wheels queue.

OK. How do you effectively play Leshrac? He is very squishy and he needs proximity with enemies to unleash his AoE nukes. His stun is delayed with not that great AoE range. In most games he's the one who should buy wards but he needs item to buff his squishiness else, he will just feed tremendously.

His stun, like Linas, works best as a followup to a more reliable CC - at least until you get used to landing it with the delay and small radius at low ranks.

The easy way to play him is with a setup hero like Sven, Shadow demon, rubick, venge.... Then gank a lot, i mean really a lot. Leshrac can be played as a form of carry if you want to, but even you are not, ganks should give you lots of reliable gold, so even if you die a lot you won't lose money.
Once you have your ult, you can easily farm creeps everywhere. Don't shy back using all your spells on a creepwave.

If you think you die too often, buy bracers, drum, ghost scepter

Sounds like something I'd quit playing over , I'm allergic to game design that is only frustrating.
Dota 2 surprisingly doesn't have anything downright frustrating so far.

All it would do is create a defeatist attitude among new players.
As soon as there is any mere hint of one team getting the advantage in LoL people mash that surrender button and then flame and report you for clicking NO.

Well, I think I'm given to the opinion that new players are given to a defeatist attitude regardless, so in that case there's not much lost, and something to gain by just throwing them into as many games as possible.

It's hard to imagine low level players being more defeatist than they already are. Otoh more experienced players are surely less likely to misuse a concede option.

Just had an awesome game with Drow. The opposing team were pushing really hard early on, I was mid against Keeper of light who kept halving my health and wiping creep waves with his blast. Top tower was nearly down against Omni and Axe, then we got a couple good team fights in with Spirit Breaker inititating and me cleaning up runners.

Ended up two of them rage quitting, and us finishing before 25 mins, feels good for a noobie :D

Why not have some hidden modifier that will determine when a concede is available? So people won't try to concede on first blood or in the first 10 minutes but at some point when the gold or xp or kill advantage is just too much, you can save yourself those 15 minutes. Someone might feed but it could control for that somehow

There is a lot to learn from playing when you're team is against the ropes. So many of the best games are ones you should have lost and somehow won.

Concede/Surrender feature can go suck a fat one.

I hope Techies never make it in. Fucking hate that hero with a passion.

Techies will be the new meepo, "aw ya, meepo is here. I am the best meepo player". Proceeds to ruin 90% of games for a few days, then never gets picked.

Except techies will get picked. I'm dead serious, I hope they add a no techies queue.

Shame on you.
Smurf account (whatever) but then you go on and talk shit over all chat when your team wins, call the other team scrubs (on your smurf account, think about that), when they ask if you can end it you act like an ass.

I wish your kind would just quit playing. This kind of toxic attitude should get you muted.

Not much of a teamplayer either, still taking farm when you are fully built with buyback and aegis, rather farm than help out nearby 1v1 teammates who you could easily save. Even your own team isn't getting any enjoyment out of your presence.

I'd play and lose with 4 honest fresh newbies (those scrubs) who make honest newbie mistakes and don't act like an anonymous twat over winning with a player like you any day.

I played a game the other day where we two players on the team who spent half the time arguing over who was bigger noob etc. At one point one of them looked at the others profile and pointed out he had a fairly small number of wins. Then the other did the same and saw they actually had around the same. So the guys says yeah but this is my smurf account, and the other guy says so what this is my smurf as well. I asked if they saw any problem with this but they didn't.

Their team: aggressive trilane, flying courier, wards

My team:
Hey guys I never played this guy before sorry if I feed.
Do you know a guide I can download?
Is it like a LoL charachter.
Just trying this out with this guy from my class, but we can only play till 8pm. Then my mom said no more games.

Now what?

This is why the game shouldn't show any kind of statistic. The more numbers you show, the more stupid people get. There shouldn't even be a win/loss counter.
