AC starts @ 49:09

According to AC it is a difference in support models.
Riot is paying to support LoL - sugar daddy model
Valve chooses not to directly support Dota - deadbeat/self-sustaining model

Curious to see who wins in the next 2-3 years.

Surprising lack of Lifestealer these days, not even in the first 4 bans and not picked up in the first 4 picks.

No idea why aswell. While he got a very good nerf, it was nothing that would make him fall off so hard. Maybe its a switch back to Agil carries or maybe people just learned to play against him due to his huge presence earlier this year.

Blink is never bad, but is it good enough in this situation to justify purchase? Guess everybody reallllllly wants that free initiation.

I call bullshit. I haven't watched this match yet, but if it's bad on Anti-Mage why isn't it bad on QoP? I have a hard time believing 2150 gold is not a waste of money on heroes that already Blink on a short cooldown.

Antimage is melee whereas QOP has heavy front loaded damage. I could see getting it to jump in unload and jump out.

I dunno. Maybe the second blink is for fast escapes/initiations, start with Blink Dagger, GTFO with natural blink.

What I'm saying is that the item in general is so excellent that I don't really consider it bad in any case, but in cases like these it doesn't really rise to the level of good, either. Middling, in other words.

She has a Blink on a 6 SECOND COOLDOWN on level 4. Blink Dagger offers zero stats, and nothing but another blink that's cancelled on damage from heroes anyway. For 2150 gold, there are other things QoP needs. If you are really needing to GTFO that quickly in 6 seconds, then you have built QoP incorrectly or have fucked up playing her properly.

Not sure how you would come to that conclusion. Whether the official release is next week or two weeks before TI3, putting that button on the blog is most likely part of the preperation.
The creation of the two bundles might have even been for full release, they can basically have a 'Free' '10 Dollar' and '20 Dollar' version all available at launch.

Well, 6 secs is a long time in a teamfight. Fine for ganks but if for some reason you do want to get in unload damage and be gone, blink could be useful for that.

That's actually not a bad idea. Why? Force Staff isn't cancelled upon damage AND gives some stats. That shit is great against a Riki.

Obviously you aren't going to blink IN with your natural blink, you'd use it to escape so this doesn't really hold water. Also force staff pushes you one way whereas a blink can go anywhere.

And I'm saying you can get silenced, like with the Riki example, who would silence you and be hitting you.

You could get stunned too so don't buy a force staff. Lots of stuff is situational. Being a good player is recognizing when a situational item applies.

you guys are preeeee delusional if youre going to assume riot actually paid them to give dota no stage at all

dh clearly fucked up their scheduling and venue management

No one said anything about them paying off DH. DH mismanaged the layout when their initial plans fell through cause they built too much shit for the LoL area. They would be violating codes if they put the Dota 2 area where it was going to be.
