for those who haven't played it VVVVVV is quite good, Canabalt too but it's definitely not a long-form game, and honestly Eufloria is really easy and boring and I can just space out while playing as the color gradients wash over my computer screen, which I like.
I got the point of Costume Quest but the RPG player in me was really frustrated by it
To the Moon is for people who live and work out of a dumpster, so
I have like 20 games from old humble bundles i've been sitting on for years so I'll set up a modbot thing when I get home for people who might be at work/whatever
also the Elder Titan sleep change is HILARIOUS in practice

Anyway,
looking through all the videos and fallout there's no way some of these changes survive long. There's obviously a bunch of clowny nonsense from past patches like the aghs weaver/wd thing, but some of the clowny stuff that is genuinely obnoxious gets dealt with (see lifestealer, glimmer). At a certain point it just becomes another Arc Wardenesque gimmicky unfun mess. Chen and Necro and Silencer are hurting for some buffs, too; that would help.
