this stun bar shit and numbers are fucking awful. but i guess gabe needs a new ferrari so the games needs new players to pay for it. how i wish this game wasnt made by valve.

I have no issues with thw stun bar or dmg numbers

Me neither tbh

although I do wish I had an option to either remove them or atleast make it not show dmg numbers under a certain threshold

also maybe the stunbar should only be visible on allies as a comprimise?

How the fuck you remove those white damage numbers? How come health bar doesn't go red anymore? Why are they ruining this game.
 
When you defer mid to someone who threatens to feed and he goes pudge, builds shit items, and lands 10% of hooks.

Those games make me hate life tbh.

I have to admit, I completely forgot about the roster switch, so I probably put too much stake in their TI performance, which wouldn't mean as much. They were my least confident choice, though.

Haven't played a game in quite a while but damage numbers sound like a great addition. Same goes for the stun bar, that's actually something I've wanted for a long time. The constant whining about skill cap is beyond annoying at this point.
 
Yeah the stun timer / notice is great, especially the other status notices like taunt and slow.

Also right after that abysmal Pudge game I go mid silencer because our Drow wanted safelane, and run into a dual mid with a feeding Lina.

Got the MMR back, but it felt bad.

The "oh noes my skill cap" kids are pretty annoying I just think the aesthetically the numbers and stun fonts are ugly as shit. Also it makes the particle effect icons for status effects like silence and stun redundant and stupid. Valve needs to pick one or the other.

Yeah, for the ones that have some kind of visual, they can keep the bar, just get rid of the text. It's fairly obvious what the symbol for silence means.

They do need an option to turn these things off though if you don't like them. One thing that bothered me about LoL's visuals for this kind of stuff (Dota hasn't done it yet), is on AoEs they just have a circle rendered other than the spell effect. The circle looks kind of ugly when I can already clearly see what the AoE is.

"mah skillcap" kids are irritating to say the least. Dota 2 is an unnecessarily obscure game with an unreasonably high barrier of entry. Honestly, I'm pretty sure some people just rage to get onto the front page. Their bitching has very little merit.

Visually, I find them pretty subtle and organic but I guess that's a matter of preference.
