I don't really have an issue with these incremental patches. 6.89 will be the crazy "shake up everything" patch, but like before it was basically every other patch was a "give these heroes that are out of whack nerfs" type of patch, and this method of just adding letters is more honest.

Played a game yesterday that I quite literally turned into a single player game (Lycan):

Didn't fight with my team once all game. When I saw a fight break out, I used my team as cannon fodder and splitpushed. By the end of the game our team got repeatedly stomped but I took 1 set of rax everytime the enemy team engaged in a fight. I love playing like that. Not saying it's the best way to play but it certainly works for me, especially on an MMR range that is yet below my skill level.

An option select is not like shift-queuing actions
Closest Dota equivalent is probably someting like Lion pressing Hex on a enemy that's visible but outside of cast range, than stopping. If your opponent blinks towards you, it's an insta-cast hex. If they remain out of range it's you moving towards them.
