Cant wait to for Treasure 2 to drop. I have the hankering to open some treasures but I dont wanna buy all the collectors cask until the end of the event.


Im still salty I slept on that pack they did for the steam sale last year. Its pretty much safe to assume it'll be back this year right?

Probably. Prize pool is currently $1.4m higher than this time last year but that sale was a $2m boost or so.

yeah I really like Veno as a core. Not sure how much I like Veno as a support/jungler like Jerax played, it's a bit too slow imo.

I never understood Veno core. Is it just the ulti doing a absurd amount of damage (amplified by Veil)? Because I can't see his right clicks being a threat.

Pretty much. He does rightclick harder after this patch though, but not by that much.

What makes Veno core good is that he can get his timing early where his ult and magic damage spells deal a lot of damage before BKB's and such comes online for the other team.

He can also push fairly fast with his wards which also grant vision.

He's not really a hard carry, but a more of a semi carry. He has his timings that he must abuse to be really effective.

Really fun hero IMO, always liked core Veno better than support Veno tbqh but there's a time for each.

I will add that you can never underestimate slows, especially in the late game

Veno is the king of team fights

When they enemy cant chase/run away you win more

I wonder how many core venos are played in upper bracket pubs. Down here in 4k you'd get crucified.
