Back in the days of Riki Euls, I have built Blink Dagger on Riki and got flamed by my toxic teammates (or opponents after I juked them). Nowadays, when I check Riki guides on Dotabuff, most of them include a Blink Dagger. The game changes quite a bit over time.

Of course, the reason for the item is most probably Riki's ultimate. Still, I find the change from pseudo-troll build to almost obligatory build quite funny in retrospect. I imagine other heroes have seen this kind of change.

LiQuid!

I proudly and openly admit to wishing death upon the mothers of people I don't like
I don't think I have ever gotten more than 1 report on the conduct screen. Stop flaming people.

Do you just never solo queue? I go out of my way to be positive towards my teammates and I legitimately never rage, flame in voice or text chat or even get angry or annoyed on a personal level when I play solo queue. I can't explain why since I'm such a salty fuck when I play with my friends. When I solo queue I consider everything that happens in the game out of my power so I just try to go with the flow and have a good time even when I'm on a 10-game losing streak. Yet I still got accused of being a toxic player in a games yesterday and flamed by my team in all chat. In almost every game I played solo support too. Pooling tangos, buying chick/upgrade, every ward, etc. Team still flames. It's real great when I'm poverty support in a game where my team has already fed the enemy's 5 carry lineup, so I'm basically a free kill at 15 minutes and my KDR ends up being a disaster then *I* get flamed for feeding by my offlane hero who is 0-6-0 to start but manages to get 3 kills before the end of the game and dying less than me by the time our ancient falls because he managed to buy himself a vanguard when I'm running around with brown boots and an obs.

yeah part of it is the ult change, there was little pressing need for blink when you could store up charges and blink a few times in a row. now positioning is really important

force staff riki is still hilarious and fun tho

But I need to tell those other 9 players how EC the 95 minute game was by allchat reminding them, pausing, hero taunting, dropping all my items in the fountain then popping tangoes to save the rainforest.

Tangos kill the rainforest, you need to spam iron branches. Scrub.

Edit: Sumail is out of EG it seems. I wonder if they will have PPD try to make a new team, or just steal EE's team (Since it looks like C9 is interested in picking up the Zai/RTZ team)

Paging all resident Drow players (or anyone really). What else did I need here? Did I need Aghs sooner or something else entirely? I figured after we lost two rax, the only way out of this would be Aghs after all the other stuff I had.

Chen kind of started tilting hard, and I never did, but I was kind of irritated that we lost this at the end. As much as the XP graph makes it looked like we were getting stomped, we really weren't at all and were fairly even most of the game, but a series of unfortunate deaths ended up in us losing. Chen was quick to blame Windrunner and Clock, but I don't really agree with that.

Regardless, what should I have done here instead?

A late response, but I would say you needed damage and different survivability items. Satanic was flatout a waste of money--more HP wan't going to help you that much, and they had enough lock down that you would probably rarely get the activation off effectively. Butterfly would have helped, and holding off on completely Hurricane Pike would have helped as well. Very low TD means you probably weren't pushing as hard as you should have been. With Chen/WR/Drow you guys should have cleared all their Towers by the 20 minute mark. Drow these days is less about getting kills and more about taking objectives.

Looking at all your Drow games you need to stop rushing Hurricane Pike. Dragon Lance by itself is more than enough. You also keep building Agh's but never getting anything that increases its effectiveness, and favor going BKB/Satanic--which isn't that great. Try going Aquila->Treads->Dragon Lance->Aghs->Maelstrom. You should have those 5 items done by about 25 minutes, and it makes you an absolute menace when it comes to pushing/counter pushing, and it has decent effectiveness in team fights. I say just ignore Satanic as an item, unless the game goes super late. Against a lineup with ET/Kunkka/Ursa, you need to force them back more than you need to kill them. You weren't going to outcarry them by yourself, and your WR seemed pretty mediocre. I'm at work so I can't see a detailed view of the game until I get home with Plus, but it should have been you get 6, and push with WR and Chen asap to take 1-2 towers and cripple the space Ursa/Kunkka had to farm. At the end of a game Drow should have 4-5k or more Tower Damage, and Hero Damage and kills are irrelevant.

Hmmm says on steamspy that there were about ~500k owners of Total Warhammer on launch day. Prolly gonna be a lot of those visually different Warhammer chests in the wild

For comparison FF Type-0 HD Bundle pack with ~100k day 1 owners . . .

Currently 10-2 with Pit Lord, seems like it's best to play him as a tanky aura monster, similar to the Doom role. While you can play him mid, and you are almost guaranteed to destroy the opponent in cs, you don't really transition into anything. Had good experiences offlane.

So now two quests remaining: 3* the evasion/spell dodge (ugh), and Legion purging debuffs. The Legion one doesn't matter so much (you don't need to 3* everything on the quest line) but the evasion one is a pain in the ass. I've 2*ed it with Brewmaster (I got 5/5 of the spell dodges, but didn't evade 60 attacks), and he feels pretty good at this (it seems that spells hitting the spell immune brewlings counts as dodging spells), but 60 is a lot of evaded attacks.

After not playing since the Winter Pass (and with only a mere 80 hours put into the game) I'm back on Dota. It feels good ( I think...).

Last game I went from loving and hating two of my teammates every time they were nice/mean to me. It was a rollercoaster of emotions.

Also, I bought my first skin when I spent 70 cents on something for Lich. I'm lost to the Dota.

Is mowing the lawn the pinnacle of masculinity?
The answer is yes.

Lawn mowing is an art form. You are destroying, killing life, using a gas powered machine that smells of oil and spews smoke, spinning a slightly dull blade at high RPMs to create order and beauty.

It's basically a mirco-sized version of building your own log cabin.

Played my first solo game (Clockwerk) since calibrating in February 2015. I was pretty much twice as good as anyone on that server so perhaps I should ditch my stack and become a pro after all.

Literally, not figuratively, every single kill in the first ~20min happened with my involvement. I don't think my team accomplished anything if I wasn't around.

Huh, that seems stupid. I can see it counting for spells but it surely shouldn't count for attacks.

the quest doesn't specifically specify that it has to be 60 physical attacks, just attacks and atleast 5 of those attacks has to be spells, so i guess that's why it counts

although I do agree with you
