Support is the most thankless task in the game. 0-5-0 carry the problem? Nope, "no wards GG" even though you had wards up the entire game. I love to support with a good team, but it can be a real shitshow.

Slacks played a game like that last night, a 2-2 Storm goes "I'm done" after 25 minutes and Slacks said "You never even started!" lol.

Of course the Storm blames Slacks for no wards despite never asking.

But Slacks was 0-5 saving teammates, so eh. There's a point where you can't save em all and have to save yourself.

Ranked solo queue is like full of account buyers now. Yesterday I was with a guy who claimed he could only play hc (no support, roam, offlane or mid whatsover), then he picked ursa jungle. After 20 mins, he's 0-4-0, lv7. Like wtf how did this guy get to 4.7k mmr?

I just love when the guy who is in jungle for the first 15 minutes of the game blames the team for losing their lanes.

Iron talon should get disabled the second you try and step into a creep camp.

I've had two games recently with a second support and I wish they had just picked a jungler. I've been playing a hard position 5 and these second supports play with the same mindset that Slacks exhibited in Purge's recent video. It's pretty amazing how I can devote the entire first 5 mins to keeping the offlaner level 1 and still at 10 mins have more gold/xp than the other support while also actually getting items up while buying 90% of the support items, tping into other lanes, etc.

I mean I'm winning but I know that there is no magic mmr land where "proper" Dota starts, gotta run 5 stacks for that stuff.

I'd much rather have that than a sand king who continuously single pulls, despite both me and the carry begging him not to or an earthshaker who "rushes" a 25 min blink.

I had this match last night, and while we won (by quite a lot) I technically lost mid because I left the lane to go help bottom, which was being dived by Axe and Oracle constantly. We killed them, so rotating definitely helped, but of course that left SF farming uncontested. I was worried about him for a bit since he gained a significant farm and XP lead while I was gone, but we were able to shut him down later.

While it worked in this case, did I make the right decision here? I feel like I wouldn't be able to get away with leaving the enemy mid alone like that normally. If my safelane is getting dived before I even get 6 as a mid, should I go keep our safelane from losing too hard, or prioritize not losing mid?

Again this game was kind of an anomaly I feel like, as leaving an SF to his own devices like that is potentially dangerous.
