I'm in some kind of weird mmr zone where trilanes are becoming a thing but they're always awful and whatever side has them usually loses. Got zoned for one full wave and then the two left a ck against a timber.

Bristleback put in some work but it just wasn't enough. Really hated how 3 of my deaths were all really close to each other near the end so I ended up dropping down to about 12 bloodstone charges. I think I'm done with US East for solo queue. I have 50 ping compared to the 90 I get on US West but at least all chat isn't constant peruvian shit talking.
3.5 now! Hopefully 4k by year's end, then I can finally contribute to game balance discussion kappa.

The most annoying thing about him is that he is so naturally tanky with just a few levels. I haven't checked the stats but I am guessing he is right up there with Orge Magi with some ridiculous strength gain per level.

at my mmr slark pickers are like huskar or sb pickers, always overextending and just dying before doing anything useful
so I don't really mind playing vs them

Can confirm. Slowly going back to 5k.
You need to farm one first, and it only has 8/16 uses.
It's enough, and your team should have more than one anyway. Usually two is enough to do the job.

I'm at pure scrub tier, but I've never seen a team with two diffusals.
Omniknight reigns supreme amongst the scrubs.
This similar things happens to me as well. Our pudge is always missing hook/dying while the other team pudge is Dendi.

I was there from the very start.
- Furion used to be a healer so basically radiant needed
- there used to be no jungle, no roshan, no river, just open plains in some case
- Razor had a radiance/damage aura so I would get Radiance
- You couldn't get UAM on Luna or it would crash the game
- Kotl(?) used to spawn creeps and phoenixes
- Faceless Void could stop the entire map
- Drow's ult used to be more gold for creeps or something

I play since Reign of Chaos days, so 2002 or 2003. With TFT we had a Dota clan and played in one of the first tournaments ever and then we all played WoW together. Good times!

Update on 1.8k friend who bought the 4.5k account.
I confronted him based on Dotabuff evidence and he came clean claiming he's using the account as a learning tool. Since he got the account he's lost the two ranked games he's played and won four of the eighteen unranked games he's played. He's the only one to play any unranked games on it and he doesn't understand or want to accept that ranked mmr =/= unranked mmr nor does he seem to understand that valve throws any player with seemingly an iota of knowledge of how to play based on stats gets thrown into high skill or very high skill to save new players from smurfs. All the other accounts in his unranked games have extremely low account levels but it hasn't stopped him from claiming he belongs in his newly found mmr. It's a bit frustrating as someone who has been putting in the grind to try and improve to watch this unfold but the losses are rolling in. I can only wonder how many dozens of games he'll ruin on his way down.

Just tell him to play vs someone that is actually around 4,5 to confirm his mmr. He will get destroyed and you can shame him all you want

Complexity was about five-manning and there was lots of micromanagement. Alliance gives players more room to breathe now and sort of execute your own way. When you're given a hero you have the freedom to determine item choices and playstyle on that hero. On Complexity it was all fairly predetermined by Kyle.
