First it was Slark, then it was Timbersaw and now I'm about to go on a 20 game+ Morphling spamming spree. Watching YouTube vods of him at work right meow and he looks like he just prints mmr. Why bother supporting 3k shitstains when you can be one yourself?

What did they do? I thought maybe they revealed NX and it was garbage, but GAF is still alive and I don't see any major thread on gaming side.

This has been bothering me for a while, and I can't figure out the setting to change it to what I want: When I spectate games, the middle mouse pans the camera in the direction I move the mouse, and when I play games, middle mouse pans it in the opposite direction. I want to be like it is when I play: Going the opposite direction. What setting controls this? I cannot find it.

I've been playing a few games that have seasonal ranked now. Hearthstone and Overwatch, and you have to do placements in Overwatch for your rank, and re-rank in Hearthstone. I read League also has a system where you have to do placements matches again and get a new rank after a while as well.

Would this work in dota? I'm staying away from ranked simply because of how long the games take and losing there would make me too salty, I did my placements when ranked first came out but never played after that. If there were seasons and placement matches I would play ranked for sure.

There was a International Ranked matchmaking that came along with the Battle Pass/TI Compendium. It offered the ability to replace your current MMR with your new International Ranked MMR, provided you played at least 40 games. My personal experience was that it was great at the start but rapidly degraded as time went on.

The unholy trio of 6.83/6.84/6.85 are the worst patches this game ever had. Basically the same meta stretched out for more than a year with some braindead and downright broken fotm heroes like Troll, Sniper and SF, just to name a few., as well as absolute cancer heroes like Tinker and Lina.

Fuck those patches.

Bring back 6.79!

6.81 + 6.82 were sick, 6.83-6.85 were all fucking AWFUL. 6.88 is dope.

6.81 was also pretty annoying for me, it was the Tinker patch, and that hero was more cancerous than Troll, Sniper and Techies combined.

6.83 was awful. Other atrocities are the TI2 patch where Lycan was the thing (and he wasn't even the most OP hero of that patch). The week Centaur was introduced to Dota 2 with his (at the time) new Ultimate that fully stunned anyone you ran over with it, even though that was fixed with a small patch and he wasn't part of the major balance patches yet.

Earth Spirit in his introduction in 6.79 was pretty broken, and I was a filthy Earth Spirit spammer. It was basically the reverse of what it was today: Grip was the stun, and super easy to set up, and Smash was the silence.

Terrorblade when he was introduced was also broken, with a ridiculous BAT with both Meta and normal forms. Reflection was good, and of course his other skills were great too.

The TI4 patch was also a meta I didn't care for: Ram your heads into them at 5 minutes and win no matter how silly it is.
