I wouldn't be opposed to a Techies buff, as much as I hated playing against him in the TI5 patch.

Just as long as he doesn't get to that point again.

just allow techies to have 3 sign charges so he can have 3 out at the same time :)

no big deal :)

also traps should root instead of stun and go through bkb and have their cast point and activation time halved :)

I am aware he is not a problem in pro play albeit rarely picked. Icefrog has previously changed heroes like Bloodseeker that had typically pubstompy skillsets and saw pro play afterward so I think Omni is a similar case.

So yeah I think you should say it.

I present to you, the way to make Omniknight not a menace in pubs, but still be Omniknight:

At this point I think you're acting dumb over this on purpose.
That or wilfully ignorant.

Hylian, Omniknight has a 60+% winrate in pubs at all levels of play. It is not so simple to say "just buy a Diffusal" because the better players are doing that and it's not helping much. We know Icefrog occasionally balances for pubs (see Spirit Breaker nerfs in 6.79) and I think Omniknight is another one of those times.

NX feels like its going to be delayed if there is a delay scenario caveat.

Lets say your buddy and you are making plans, aye? So your buddy's trying to work out his schedule and tells you "Look, I'll let you know Thursday. If I don't get in touch with you Thursday, just assume something came up."

You, in your infinite wisdom, when Wednesday comes around, assumes the plans fell through.

Any of you nerds play Magic? Where do I start?

Somewhat casually nowadays. What do you want to know? Magic Duels might be a good place to start since it's free but when I tried it at launch it felt like the beginner decks they gave you were underpowered as shite and progression was REALLY slow .

Mostly if there are any significant rule changes in Duels compared to regular MTG. I had heard there were.

LiQuid!

I proudly and openly admit to wishing death upon the mothers of people I don't like
Magic Duels is really bad. If you just wanna dip your dick into Magic get one of the annual MTG games when they are on steam sale for like a dollar. Even the old ones. They'll teach you how to play and how a couple themed decks would work.

If you want to dive right into the physical game, they sell deck builder kits now that give you 300 cards for like $20 that will get you started on building decks of your own without overwhelming you with having to buy a bunch of crap.

Disclaimer, I haven't actually played physical Magic since the 90s, but my advice is good. Don't play fucking Magic Duels

Yeah but why? "Don't do thing" is all well and good but there aren't many other ways to learn the game without sinking money into it.

Does it have seperate rules or something?

I think the most significant rules change for Duels compared to regular Magic is card limit with regards to rarity. In regular, constructed Magic (i.e. people make their own decks as opposed to drafting from booster packs you open) you can have up to 4 of each card. In Duels you can have 4 of each common, 3 of each uncommon, 2 of each rare, and 1 of each mythic rare. This makes certain decks just flat out impossible to construct.

Other than that: Duels pretty much has the same rules as Magic. There's some rare situations in which some finer aspects of timing aren't there in Duels (e.g. I think Duels never explicitly asks you if you want to do anything during upkeep/draw phase, they just combine Untap/Upkeep/Draw into one phase and go straight into Main phase for the most part) but unless you get SUPER into Magic it won't really matter for you.
