Does anybody else keep confusing Drag-on Dragoon with that crappy GC Treasure game (Dragoon Drive, I think) for some stupid reason? I know I do...

If it's any consolation, I keep confusing Advent Rising with Advent Children, so everytime there is a new thread with Advent Rising screens I get my hopes dashed :lol

Thanks for the Drag-on Dragoon 2 scans but you should keep that Shin Sangoku Musou crap to yourself. That is unless it's meant as a warning ;)

Superdeformed portable Sun Shang Xiang. Sold.

Didn't play Drakengard so really don't know what improvements are offered in those screens.

April 7. Looks pretty hot, but the Gundam license turns me off a bit.
Cool. Yeah I'm very curious. My other half is very good friends with the producer at Bandai and I'm a fan of Namco's work so I'm excited to see how this turns out.

Thanks for the info!

That skull mask is pretty cool.

I enjoyed Drakengard... not a brilliant game, it has its faults, but if you like slashing through hundreds of enemies, it's a decent shout. Nice atmosphere and interesting story, too. From the scans, this sequel looks to be improving on the environments and general presentation, which is very welcome. Looking forward to it.

Did anyone notice how one of the characters is named Leguna? :lol
Yeah, but that doesn't make half as much sense in English as it does in Japanese, because it's basically Angelus backwards in the Japanese names. Implying a weird connection to the first game's dragon. I have a very bad feeling that
Nowe is gonna turn out to be Furies' son
since it's 18 years after the end of the first game.

I second this. After seeing the pics and reading about it, its definately something im hoping to try out.

Hm......
the scan says Shin Sangoku Musou GBA is developed by Omega Force
then who is developing the DS ver now?

Oh god, I really hope
that it's not the son of Furiae and Caim, crossbreeding never really works out does it?

It's not like anything else does either - they're all pretty doomed from the start :lol

It's like you play Drag-on Dragoon trying to get the good ending, but then you realize
THERE IS NO GOOD ENDING, ONLY VARYING DEGREES OF TERRIBLENESS.

You've got to love that final ending though.
THANKS FOR PLAYING PROJECT DRAGONSPHERE PS FUCK YOU.

Though there may not be many of us, I'm looking forward to Drakengard 2. Quite flawed but always good for just laying waste to enemies, building up yet another weapon. And I like the high-quality cinemas and the uniquely controversial (as in "f'd up") storyline set amidst Western/Medieval-influenced settings and characters.

Looks like they're going a little younger this time around, but I'm sure the backstories of these new characters (some we know from Drak1) will be interesting...

I heard that too, something about
a jet and modern-day Tokyo no less
, IIRC. I left it at Ending 3 and just replay stages for now. I'm in no rush to see that kind of nonsense, if true.

Yeah, it's in there. I got all the weapons and seen the last ending :lol
It was pretty mental, and probably not worth the time, but actually the weapons have some nice stories behind them, so I enjoyed that aspect.

I heard from somebody that Caim comes into the modern world later in the game. I played only until chapter 5, is that BS?

Aye it's true. It's the very last ending. I never did beat that boss battle though. It's very weird.

Whenever I've posted about Drakengard I've ragged on its flaws but overall it was a fun game, and I'll definitely pick up any PAL release SE does.

So the requirement for that ending is to get all weapons? :(

Interesting. Perhaps Omega Force has grown in size due to the success of the Dynasty Warriors series?
