Yeah I don't think so.

Super Saiyan Gohan had a clear leg up on Tagoma and Gohan was clearly a weakling. I doubt he'd even be in a position to beat Perfect Cell.

It's a shame Gotenks didn't get to square off against Tagoma.

This movie should've been canon while it did nothing really for goten as far as trunks goes it definitely pushed him in the right direction

Not the same if Trunks just grows up to be like Futrue Trunks. He's a spoiled brat. Future Trunks went through some shit which made him likeable.

On this level, I don't see how. Especially considering most characters have tails, and capes and other things hanging off them. I don't see how that, and specifically body hair is now suddenly a tactical advantage. Maybe in some other manga or the real world, but not Dragon Ball.



Again, that is your opinion. There has to be another way for you to express that without trying to pass it off as some kind of factual view.

It's because if someone gets hold of your hair, they suddenly have full control over you, it's like a pressure point. Trying to pull away from them would only be more painful. There's a reason Krillin shaves his hair.

I dont think we were supposed to give Tagoma much thought, he became Frieza strongest henchman to fill up a couple episodes until
Ginyu,
Goku and Vegeta showed up, he trained with Frieza to become stronger and cunning, but was trashed by two SS, basically the same role Shisami had in the movie. he was smart by shooting Gohan before he transformed though

It's not as brutal as the android apocalypse but Tapion's near-death and departure qualifies as going through some shit for Trunks IMO. He's a spoiled brat in canon, yeah. But this film made him grow up slightly both physically and mentally.

Yeah, this is much better. Still don't find the form all that appealing, but that edit is much easier on the eyes.
 
I like Broly, what can I say I always enjoyed the whole unstoppable monster theme. But yeah the sequels were god awful.

Considering how easy it's to train and power up Gohan should have no problem getting back into shape before you know it. Stick him into that chamber and let him do his thing and boom. Back in a few hours.

I feel like the Fusion Dance also allows the two fused people to invent new attacks they otherwise would not have come up with on their own.

Interestingly, it seems that when they separate the fusion, they forget their moves.

But the android apocalypse and the fact that he's from the future is what made him so damn cool. Also 1 shoting Frieza, Kold, 17,18 & Cell helped too. You can skip 10 years with current Trunks and he can have the same personality as FT but it wouldn't nearly be as cool because of his past.

I also feel like they should meet and have some interaction. I'd love Future Trunks to have some sort of big brother role. Current Trunks needs some humble pie served and FT is the perfect character to serve it to him.

Again, this is implying we weren't talking about Dragon Ball. No matter how much hair one has or doesn't have, that won't factor into the batlle much if at all because it never comes down to that.

AT want out the way to even show apendages aren't even a weakness anymore during the Saiyan Saga with the tails.

It's still a weakness if your entire transformation hinges on it since all your opponents have to do is cut it off.

Not to mention in Super
the U6 Saiyans evolved without one implying that they are useless.

A transformation that was made useless the second SS was introduced, maybe even prior to that. Again, having hair or not never plays a factor in a Dragon Ball fight.

To make up for it, that scene was also one of the most badass scenes in the entire DBZ run. Everything about Gogeta is cool.

Btw did you know that the French dub for his sole line of dialogue was effin' awesome? It basically goes like this:

"You don't know me. I'm neither Son Goku nor Vegeta. But I don't need a name to eliminate you."

Gogeta, people.
 
I've always loved Gogeta and Vegito or whatever their names are. I can't remember if it was a trait of both but one for sure was incredibly cocky, and it was probably the only instance when it was justified. Gogeta/ Vegito when they showed up were always way ahead of the opposition in front of them, in that Janemba film the fucker was destroyed with no worries at all. GT whilst not cannon continued that trend, the fusion could have finished Omega Shenron in about 5 seconds but of course Goku had to be the centre of attention so that never happened.

Then again Super would not do any justice to the fusion so I hope that's left alone. I think the writers would nerf the shit out of Gogeta/Vegito if they were in this anime, if not the fusion would be capable of bringing down Beerus or at the very least giving him something to seriously worry about.

Hair wasn't my point it's that SSJ4 needs the tail to work, which is why Vegeta needed a machine to transform, and after he dropped down he couldn't do it again when he was fighting with Omega.

Remove the tail from the SSJ4 user and they should lose the form just like the Oozaru, which would make it rather useless transformation.
