The whole point of bringing back
Freeza
is that he was already stronger pretty much anyone else they could pick. Considering they only have like 4 hours left that is the reason he is being brought back, and not some fodder like Pikkon or Cell.

Filler has nothing to do with it.
Cell would easily be the most powerful when you account for the fact that he has Zenkai and can regenerate from a few cells in less than a minute. So all they have to do is blow Cell up a hundred times or so in those few hours.

Of course, then they end up with a disgustingly overpowered Cell, so probably not the best idea in the long run for Universe 7's survival.

Cell would get death boost + "I've never trained before in my life, time to hunt some poachers" boost.

Dude would be OP. Bring back Cell. Bring back Wakamoto.

Looking back at the start of Super, it's amazing how truly enjoyable the anime is now. I feel like Super has held its own ground as an enjoyable show, something of which I was concerned Toei couldn't do again with Dragonball after Z.

Comparing to GT, Super has been considerably more entertaining. And I'm very happy about it.

Yorknew arc. Still pretty early but damn the show is slowly getting better.

Yeah that's when the show gets darker and also a LOT better. One of the latest arcs is even more grindark shit is crazy. But it keeps a consistent quality after Yorkshin with a few bumps here and there.

Personally thought ant arc was a piece of shit.

I think first hour fans that had to go through the horrendous ant arc with like 2 scribble chapters a year for 10 whole years got burnt like me.

Just watching the anime it's probably better even though it dragged.

But besides this arc, what was before and what came after was all amazing.

At his current level though he might as well be a mook and they only got 4 hours left. They don't have the time to train him up into God level, and his regeneration wouldn't really be a factor in a no killing tournament.

So there's no point in recruiting him.

I like how after Hit catches Frost tail he realizes how futile his attempt was and just resigns himself to death.

He had a backup plan, the needle on his heel. I think that's how it's supposed to be taken, or else Hit's whole spiel about Frost's desire to live being an asset would have less impact.

If they brought him back, he'd likely magically be SSB tier.

Yeah, Cell would have been like Piccolo. Joining mainly to test their power against strong warriors.

I do think that was a cool moment a lot of people missed due to the Gohan hype. That Piccolo joined the tournament because he wanted to prove himself.

He couldn't even keep up the rules of his own tournament and is kind of a sore loser though.

Eh, the worst thing he did to break the rules was destroy the ring. He really didn't do anything else that would make him a sore loser.
