Super directors sure are fond of this shot. Think this is the third time we've seen it?

Considering the amount of build up she's getting I'm curious what they're going to do with Caulifla. I'm actually pretty interested in seeing where they take her.

I need to know what the fuck is up with this random shot of a chest flexing in the NEP.

My guess would be that it's a Universe 10 fighter.

Look at that One Piece ear placement.

The truly important thing is that this confirmed that Master Roshi is canonically stronger than Yamcha.

(also I bet after Kale transforms, Beerus will freak out and Whis will tell him that it's a special Saiyan form and U7 probably had one but they were killed when Planet Vegeta got blown up because Beerus prodded Freeza)

They really over did it with the Roshi pervert stuff.

Nice to see Four Witches again though.

Compared to the past stuff with Roshi this was pretty tame. From comments before watching the episode I was expecting something more in line with the old stuff.

And the "wickedness" was in a pocket at her behind... So he was kinda right...

Goku was very dumb this episode.

Goku: You've gotten stronger Roshi.

No shit Goku, he's being possessed and his strength increased from that.

I'm starting to think Goku is a better father than Gohan with this dub episode.
The one time I don't refresh to make sure I don't Double post :(
Terrible ningen

That dub episode today; Pan is born may have been my favorite episode so far of Dragonball Super, I like it when they are all just screwing around since it happens so rarely.

ChiChi being more concerned about Bulma setting up Goku with training instead of cheating with her was funny

The spell didn't make him stronger. It only made him fight all out.

Meh, this episode was the worst in a while. I really can't stand the rapey roshi antics, it's not funny to me in the least, plus unlike most of the 10 thus far, there really wasnt any reveal of tien and roshi that makes them worthy of the tournament. Tien got his ass kicked and roshi traded one or two blows with base form goku. Oh well.

How dare Goku not use his Blue form when Gohan has been training for two whole days!

On a more serious note it could explain how Piccolo was able to actually fight him off for a while.

Not really. This only shows that Goku wasn't trying at all against Super Saiyan Gohan in Episode 75.

Yeah. It seemed to imply it was because the Talisman made Roshi not hold back?
Well, he beat Tenshinhan with the Bankoku Bikkuri Shō. When he used it on Goku back in the 21st Budokai, he basically said he had banned it and it's far more powerful than the Kame Hame Ha.

I think he just wasn't holding back due to the talisman.

Edit: Huh. I wonder if Goku would remember Jackie Chun and think "Both are old martial artist that know Kame Hame Ha and Bankoku Bikkuri Shō", but he would probably figure they know each other or something.

Roshi beat Tenshinhan. How is that not worthy?

This episode sucked, and it annoys me that it sucked because it had a lot of stuff in it that could've been really cool. Yurin was a fun character I wouldn't mind seeing more of but the stuff with Roshi was gross.

I loved the Cabba scene.

The universe 6 stuff is really intriguing. I just hope for Caulifla to end up being an active player / major threat in the tournament, and not just a red herring for Kale.

Also, I'm a bit worried we didn't see Blue in the NEP, since Super' NEPs usually spell the whole thing out. I really hope Gohan will reach Goku's level / surpass him by the next episode.

They haven't lately actually. Goku seems to be having a tough time as SSJ2 so he'll probably go Blue after that.

Gohan shouldn't surpassed Goku in just two days of training.

Wow Tien did shit all this episode. We sure he's ready to join the team LOL

Also I'll agree they laid the "Roshi is a PERVERT" bit too thick

Good to have confirmation on the two female Super Sayians

Time between exhibition and tournament should have been one month. Would make all this a lot more believable

I strongly agree with this

They're just doing a really poor job at keeping track of time. For example Gohan and Piccolo take place at the same time as Goku and 17 because of the night passing by right?

He's done it before

Via ritual, not training.

Even if he just stayed at base Mystic form, he'll have become stronger than ssj3 and would force Goku into Blue anyway.

That was back in the Buu Saga. Goku's base form is much higher than it was before and Super Saiyan is a multiplier not a level.

The episode said at the beginning that they rewind the clock to show what Goku was doing while Gohan trained. Seriously, do people read the subs?

Via ritual, not training.

Time chamber before they fought Cell. They were both training but Gohan got way stronger, way faster. He's also been training a lot off-screen, and we know he gets crazy gains from his training. They're just hitting him all at once.

That was back in the Buu Saga. Goku's base form is much higher than it was before and Super Saiyan is a multiplier not a level.

Gohan kept up with that, and maybe even overtook it a bit, as evidenced by their recent spar. He did have the only clean hit of that entire match.

Tenshinhan's outfit with the shirt off might be my favorite look for him. The maroon pants with the arm bands and his Trunks Saga muscles looks awesome
