If they make Popo like TFS's Popo, it'll look like TFS is copying Toei, meaning they're out of ideas.
My first experience with Popo was that episode where they get Kami's old ship, he was kind of creepy in that.
Well this is pretty much the first time Popo got a creepy close-up and did a verbal threat at the same time. It's clearly a nod to TFS by the animators, lol.
I would find it funny if we got a brief Vegeta vs. Mr. Popo fight when Vegeta tries forcing himself into the chamber after breaking it again.

I think what took Popo in that direction for TFS was how he was able to block punches/ hold his own against SSJ Goten and Trunks.

Was that in Dragon Ball? Need to rewatch the Popo training stuff. Remember getting bored when I watched it the first time, and skipping to the Piccolo Jr. arc.

To be honest, I am taking a shot at Android 17 but, at least the anime/manga stated he had potential for unlimited power or something to that effect.
Also everyone and their mom was an appropriate response. We have seen the form used quite a bit (even against 18 and Kullilin) when it probably should not have been. Also the fact that he had to use it against that Wolf universe(10 I think) is kind of dumb. Like, wouldn't that in effect destroy him if he truly had that much power? It just doesn't add up and all i'm saying is the manga does a far superior job in over-explaining power levels. It's pretty much a fact imo.
Also it IS about merchandising. Correct me if I am wrong but the RoF outfit was in the RoF movie? I don't understand the point you're trying to make. Those outfits appeared in the movie first and are a reference. However I will concede SSR Vegeta, not in the anime(you got me there).

Kami apparently can't kill himself. Instead, he deliberately hid the fact that he dies when Piccolo dies so that God could kill Piccolo.

Didn't have to kill him. He could have restrained him and trapped him somewhere or something.
Doesn't mean they couldn't do anything about Piccolo when he was weaker and they had to have known about the DBs unless they did i only seen the Big Green jr arc and bits of evil tien

Popo could probably have prevented a lot of the early villains doing much. But why dirty his own hands?

I would enjoy this. The fact that Frost wasn't a good guy sucked. Some contrast with Frieza might be just the thing to put him on the path to good!

I am curious what is Mr. Popo's place in the Dragonball world is though. Like is there a Genie for every Kami on every planet? Namek didn't have one, though Guru was accompanied by Nail I guess. Maybe Mr. Popo is Earth exclusive somehow.

The fight between Mighty Mask and 18 was longer than I remember in Z, in a series that is supposed to trim down the length of the fights.
Also found an inconsistency. Trunks and Goten take off their uniform twice. Once when 18 cuts it off, they throw the uniforms away, and when they meet Videl they're taking off the uniforms again.
18's lucky that destructo disk hit them the right way. Then again we would have been graced if Goten lost his head.

It's either a hybrid's version of SSG, because they're unable to fully become a SSG, a halfway point to getting SSG, or a different version of SSJ3 than Goku's.
Or they're my guesses anyway. I'd like it to be a hybrid thing, that way it can be explained later on when Goten and Trunks are on their way to getting god ki.

What? SSR is the other way to obtain god ki for Saiyans. It's like using the back door. With SSB you achieve it through hard training & a calm mindset. SSR is achieved through hard training & an overwhelming amount of anger.
