Next episode looks pretty dull. No reason why Frieza couldn't just anhilate everyone at the end of this episode quickly and then have next episode be start of tournement.
You can't warm up if you kill everyone immediately!

As boring as the chapter was, I can't believe how beautiful it was. Whoever was responsible for today's drawing should work on every important chapter from now on.
Nah, I've heard he's turned over a new leaf. He's apparently a really good guy now.
Two styles dominated today's episode. As boring as the chapter was, I can't believe how beautiful it was. Whoever was responsible for today's drawing should work on every important chapter from now on.

Boring? It was superb. Great character interactions and they proved bringing back Frieza was a great idea, despite not looking like much on paper.
Did people think bringing him back would be a bad idea in every sense? I just didn't want it to happen because the thought of Goku being desperate to invite him of all people really sucked. That it's a lot to ask of his friends. But even then I knew all the interactions would be gold lol
Two styles dominated today's episode.
First half was Miyako Tsuji, she is one of two Chief Animation Supervisors on Super, she works on every even numbered episode.
Second half was Animation Supervisor Yuichi Karasawa who was previously a supervisor on 31, 37, 44, 50, 57, 66, and 72. He very quickly became Super's "golden boy" supervisor but randomly disappeared after episode 72, which was also easily his weakest. His work on 94 is the most polished it's ever been on Super, something we've seen with a few other supervisors this arc as well.
The main people responsible for 86's visuals were Miyako Tsuji and Naoki Tate. Tate is on 95.While we've had some good looking chapters, the only one that I can remember that comes close to this one was 17's reintroduction episode (86 I think?). Who was responsible for that?
I'll definetly look forward to whatever that person and Karasawa put their hands from now on.
The arms behind back posture has always been cool. Did Freeza always do that?
I just noticed. When Freeza kills that dude, his beam scratches Goku's cheek, haha. Missed it the first time

Does Goku always default to lying?
Looks like someone is watching in the NEP though that ball. I will lol if it's the Grand Priest. Universe 9 is finished for sure.
With the whole fighters thing i never expected them to last, U9 i meanYeah, U9 won't participate. Maybe even U4.
It seemed to contradict how 17 felt about Krillin in episode 87. Then again maybe that's a good thing so we can wipe that episode away completely.Nah that was great.
Nah that was great. The only thing that was iffy this episode was Krillin trying to engage small talk with 17.
Nah that was great.
I believe in U9 to make it to the tournament.
They're my team, and I'm with the U9 angel on them.
I'd also say Roshi is tripping death flags if he wasn't in EoZ.
Yeah, I think U9 ain't gonna make it lol. Weren't they having trouble recruiting members? How about picking 7 random people from those assassins? They're so dumb they deserve whatever's coming at them.
They just there to show how serious it is and we need butt monkeysSeems Universe 9 done fucked up but we'll see
