He doesn't watch the show much so I told him how Goku has a new form now so I'm hoping he draws a new version of this to incorporate Limit Breaker / Ultra Instinct Goku. I should also try to get him to toss in those aura sparks for SS2 Goku!

Its speculated that the god of destruction of jirens universe is controlling jiren thus explaining jirens extreme power. What do you guys think? I don't want to say its so far fetched given how controlled jiren is with all his attacks. Also goku seemed to be about as controlled as jiren when he entered ultra instinct form scaring the gods but not jiren. Could it be because the speculation is true and goku was almost on par with the god of destruction of jirens universe?

It's probably more likely that Kamen Rider and Super Sentai get moved again if what I hear about their ratings dropping in the new timeslot are true. Fuji TV will probably just wait it out.

the episode has some stuff that i thought lends credence to that theory. the GoD of u11 being a little obsessed with Jiren is kind of weird. Also Marcarita doesn't seem to know anything about Jiren, which I also thought was a little weird.

What if they started focusing on a more mature audience/timeslot? I want to see some more bloodthe saliva isn't cutting it, and we need more battle damage, like a hell of a lot more.
That'd be a great way to lose a lot of money.
This really isn't a big deal, things are fine, especially if OP's DVR ratings and Super breaking tons of streaming services are anything to go by.

Even if blood is taboo or something now, which would be weird, I remember Gohan vs Buutenks being downright brutal (that fight had none spilled iirc). It just had great battle damage and high impact moments.
I'm well aware of that, Super's ratings don't mean the show will be in danger or anything like that, though I already saw a thumbnail on YT claiming otherwise lol, these guys work fast.
Yeah I'm really not worried about the ratings. Super is obviously pretty huge at this point throughout throughout the world. Hell it's base in the US may be bigger than Japan's.
I do wonder how the Toonami episodes are doing though. Would love for them to be successful all the way through the series. It just seems like the dub is really being overlooked this time, as it started releasing right around the time that the JPN version started getting to the good shit, and it's much easier to get access to JPN episodes than it was back in the day.
It would be a huge shame if the dub was cut short or something.

New Dub episodes are getting just under 1 million viewers each week, but it's the biggest show on Toonami.
The Blurays have been doing well on Amazon as well.

Jiren has Ultra Instinct. That's why he has grey eyes and is defensive in his fighting. Like Goku was when Toppo + rabbitman attacked him.

That's my take as well. Especially when he gets that red aura right before he punts Goku at the end of the fight.

All I know is Frieza has been a way better addition to this tournament than many expected. From the first moments we heard Frieza could be the 10th fighter, I remember a lot of people were really not feeling it at all, but with what we've seen up to this point, there's just no way Majin Buu would have been a better substitute.

Edit: also does anyone know the name of the song that plays when Goku first attacks Jiren with UI? The one that continues until Beerus says "ultra instinct?" I've tried searching for it but all I get is the clip or the song but with the other audio from the show overlaid on top.

The new dub episodes also airs twice. One at 7:30 and then an encore at 10:00 that split the audience. The new episode at 7:30 get the highest ratings except for Family Guy and one airing of Rick and Morty for some reason.
