Well, this arc has been half garbage and half mediocrity with some decent episodes spread around here and there. The concept itself imploded so a lot of bullshit had to happen. I'd just be happy if they skipped over the U6 people and got to eliminating dudes quickly so we can get to Jiren vs Goku and finish things out.

But how Frieza played out the "team up" with Frost was incredibly safe and predictable, Gohan could have been replaced by any other U7 character and that wouldn't have changed.

I guess one change that could of been different if it wasn't Gohan there is that Frieza may have eliminated the U7 member or do something. Gohan's supposed to be one of the smartest characters and he at least showed it this time where he could tell from the first hit that Frieza was setting Frost up. Not sure some of the other U7 members would of caught that.

Yep. It's considered one of the best fights by the fandom at large. Piccolo vs. 17 always pops up in discussions. It ain't Goku vs. Vegeta (Saiyan Saga), but it's definitely up there for me.
