Kind of a weird contest tbh. They are so far apart in terms of release not to mention that there is so little information apart from a logo for DQXII. I love DQ since part 1 but I am a little worried in how XII might turn out. I hope it'll be good. But for me XBC 3 is more appealing since I know it releases soon and that Monolith Soft are one of the best developers in the world. They've had plenty of time to work on this and are masters in their craft, especially world design. Just watching the trailer's environments gets me all hot and bothered. I'll be there for Dairy Queen the 12th when it releases though, gotta give it a fair shake, especially after decades of great memories.

I played the OG on the wii and hated it. I really Like JRPGs but I didnt enjoy the combat and loop of xb. On the other hand, I loved DQ XI, I missed the classic turn based RPG of yore and it was so refreshing an beautiful to watch. DQ all the way!

Dragon Quest for me.

I like Xenoblade Chronicles X but don't really have an interest in the regular Xenoblade Series. XBCX is big enough as it is, can't really see myself dedicating the time to playing through XB 1 & 2.

Xenoblade, though mostly because I liked X1 and 2 and based on the little we've seen I have a pretty good idea of what to expect from 3 (basically more of the same).
It's too early to have much of an opinion on DQ XII. Based on their comments it should be quite a departure from XI, and that could go either way.

Im a huge dragon quest fan, always preferred it over final fantasy but after playing xenoblade chronicles monloft is on another level, never in my life have i played a single player mmo (thats basically what it is with the with an expansion to the gameplay) and have a great time

I prefer the continuing storyline of the Xenoblade games over the anthology one off style of modern DQ games. I would pick Falcom's Trails series over DQ for the same exact reason.

I love the series.
I liked DQ11 a lot, but found the soundtrack super annoying after a while, and the main character was the worst character in the game. there are silent protagonists i do like, but the one from DQ was just boring.

Look forward for both. But DQ has always been my favorite JRPG franchise since i played my first DQ (DQ8), so obviousely DQ12 wins in this case.

But Xeno is incredible as well, the first one was phenomenal and on my top 5 games of ps360wii generation, Xeno was very good (not as good as 1 but still), looking forward for Xeno 3.
