Worst Behavior sounds like one of those fake songs people would put on Napster back in the day, where it's just the hook on repeat for like 5 minuets.

Lmao, good comparison.

The album is decent it'll probably grown on me. Too Much though...got me in the feels a little.

Funny that Jay's bars on Pound Cake was the best he's spit in years...pretty sad.

And damn at Mini Sean like how did this ninja get a deal?! Like yoooo his bars on this album is a new low, shoutout to Drake givin dude that pity cheque.

Damn this album is fantastic.

It feels so weird to fight for Drake, but after this and Take Care, I can't help it. Dude makes great music.

The production on this is incredible, btw. Those beats. Unbelievable.

As with virtually every record he's been featured on this year, Medium Sean is the worst part of the album.

Can people stop giving this clown work?

Damn that Pound Cake is on repeat. Why couldn't Jay-Z do this on Magna Carta?
And why does Drake sound like fucking Soulja Boy on the first half of Worst Behavior? He let Nas down.
The album sounds great so far though.

Really digging this, and I'm not a big Drake fan. Pound Cake is fucking gold, what a track. I can't stop listening to it.

Can't stop listening to Tuscan Leather.

The way 40 flips the same sample three different ways is some Iron Chef type shit.

Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2 is easily the best song on the album for me. Drake and Jay both killed it and dat beat. The Language, Wu-Tang Forever, Furthest Thing, From Time, and Come Thru are great too. NWTS lived up to the hype.

also I love how Big Sean sounds great on features but H.O.F. was horrible.

GAF finally embraces Drake

Good album. It's not better than Take Care though. I need to relisten to it further. Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2 is fantastic.

Yeah, I can't front, this is sounding good so far. Definitely got some records on here. Still don't like the faux singing. It sucks, and I don't understand why he won't stop.

Favorites so far: Wu Tang, Tuscan Letter, Pound Cake (*OMG*), From Time, Too Much and All Me (Sean is garbage, tho, haha -- funny you guys pointed that out).

Half-way through the album. Y'all really don't like Worst Behaviour? Tuscan Leather was good too. Worst song so far I'd have to say would be Wu-Tang Forever; not feelin it at all.

Also lol at "medium sean".....it's true though.

Too Much is such a great track. Though I must say, I might actually prefer the Fallon live version. The bit with the "fiya lyan" segment at the end is missing on the official version :(

I'm going to need to listen to the album again; however, it's a good chill album.

It's not the amped energy of Stay Trippy or B.O.A.T.S 2. It exists in it's own vacuum. I don't think I would listen to it when I'm tired though.

IRONYYYYYY

Drake is such a mediocre lyricist. Most songs are sappy. I like a couple but still his rhymes lack any punch. Not deep at all. Good flow. Production is alright. Cole produces 95% of his shit...way better lyricist. Don't brag about being rich and is way more talented.

My opinion is correct. I used to be a huge Drake fan but Young Money ruined him.

Section 80 still better than both these albums though.

I'm not a Drake fan at all really. There are a handful of songs that I like of his and 'Take Care' has some good songs on it with a nice flow throughout the whole album. This album though, I'm just not feeling it. It kind of reminds me of Kanye's latest album where it just feels discombobulated and all over the place. Some songs will start to sound like they have potential and just never reach or or switch up. I'm giving it another listen like I do with most albums to see if anything peaks my interest.

I'm a little biased though because I don't like Drake as an artist but I do enjoy some of his songs.

Well i can cosign that at least.
This album to me is better than Born Sinner. Sappy songs do run rampant in his catalogue though. My biggest quip with NWTS is it feels disjointed, not super cohesive.

Shit, I didn't expect Jay to come through like the did. Poundcake indeed. I'd be down with a Jay/Drake collab if that is what could be expected. This cd as a whole is just so damn smooth. Outside of Two Chains and Big Sean being completely useless as usual, this is pretty much a cover to cover for me. Music you could still listen to 5 years from now, unlike most of the trending moment type shit rap(or music in general) is full of.

I would love to compare this to born sinner but i cant stay awake long enough to make it past 4 tracks on that album.
I actually like J. Cole, or at least really want to, but I still haven't made it through Born Sinner from start to finish. Power Trip is a great song, though, love both his collabs with Miguel.

LOL
Y'know people have been giving J Cole a hard time. They say he has NyQuil raps. I personally like some some of his introspective songs, but my personal standouts are:

We On, Cost Me A Lot, Love Me Not, Unabomber, Trouble...

Cost Me A Lot is like the ultimate redemption song, especially the first verse. For anyone that was a nobody and then found themselves in success it's an excellent "Screw you I made it" song.

His other stuff can get....slow. He isn't on Drake's level production wise; although he also raps in a personal level, it just seems that Drake has a more refined sound.

GAF finally couldn't fight what their ears were saying.... Drake, the leader of the new school
God, chill out with the stannery. Dude is the biggest in the game, he makes good music, but lets not act like there aren't cats who are dropping better music.

Album is good though. Tuscan Leather is one of my favorites of the year.
