DrDisrespect permanently banned from Twitch [Now Streaming on YouTube]

I bet its 'cancel culture' related for somehting he said in the past. He never really says anything racist or sexist or anything like that. He's been sticking up for BLM and has been charity streaming all month. If its because of something silly he's said in the past, then this cancel culture is getting out of control.

Wow. I seriously hope it's just some DMCA BS. But from what it sounds like its serious.

I know some here don't like doc,but I liked his "character" and the visuals and shit he does for his stream.
I don't enjoy watching streamers of any kind but I gotta give it to the doc. He's the most entertaining out of the bunch. His editor is mad, his streams are always full of activity and its very entertaining.

It's a perma ban fyi

There's no way! I can't imagine how much ad revenue Dr. D. brings to Twitch. Unless they are making room for Ninja and crew back from Mixer? I'd think a partner at his level was almost untouchable, or would have to be so grossly negligible that Twitch would have no option but to perma ban. But maybe this source isn't de facto?

well they mentioned terms of service... do these have off-site clauses?
Did you read their terms of service? Google it.

Tons of stuff can be done off-stream and net you a ban.

It's also Community Guidelines as well not just the ToS.

Facebook and youtube coming to his house:

Methree'd or four'd. Once the curtain is pulled back the Twitter-roaches come out en masse with stories of trauma ranging from: "that day I shared an elevator with him" to "that day I thought he thought I looked fat but wouldn't say."

Lack of competition with Mixer gone will make things worse for Twitch streamers.
Expect rate cuts in the future and they'll be harsher punishing people for infractions.

I feel bad that I know who this is

and I find it so amusing that we now post tweets and reply with tweets in most threads, we need a name for that

It's got to be contractual. If they can say with certainty hes done on other streaming platforms as well, there must be a legal clause for violating something specific where he can be terminated, but can't stream until the contract has been served.

Otherwise whatever hes allegedly done he could just stream on bitchute, hitbox, facebook etc

"He's banned and done everywhere"

There is no way this is the case. He could commit a criminal offense and still come back streaming. There is zero scenario where he is done everywhere.

It wouldnt be a perma ban if it was DMCA related, unless the perma ban talk is all bullshit.

Depends on what the DMCA is going after. Anything is possible in this day and age.

In the clip when asked if its DMCA, Tim smiles and says he cannot confirm nor deny.

He told a girl once that she was hot. He's done everywhere.
Yeah, its just so insane for some former twitch employee to be like "its bad bad, he's done everywhere."

He could be convicted of sexual assault and come back and stream and there would be people who watch. Nto saying he committed sexual assault.

Could it be that since mixer is no more that they feel more confident in banning "controversial" people from their platform?

I dont watch him much cuz of the games he play, but going from the highlights from his stream I've seen, he is very funny, so I'm sure that even IF this ban stands, he'll soon be successful somewhere else.

I am genuinely curious as to WTF did he do lol. He is a fucking idiot but he also was Twitch's golden boy bringing in massive revnue. They wouldnt ice him over something minor. People who think this is because of cancel culture are fucking idiots. Twitch aint gonna perma their biggest revenue stream unless someone showed up with serious receipts. He said she said would always work out in his favor because of how big he is on Twitch.

Like a streamer that big would literally have to be involved in something straight up criminal to get perma'd. And the fact that it is all so tight lipped also makes me think they dont want to talk about what may be an police investigation?

Time for an alternative to Twitch where all streamers aren't scared to speak their mind?

For all you know he got merc'd because he had kiddie porn but go on, tell us more about how it was because he spoke his mind about 5G causing corona virus or some stupid shit.

The victim complex on people.

I reckon he's banned for good.

Facebook Twitch and YouTube are terrible for streaming. its their way or the highway

Would be cool if Doc, Ninja and Shourd started something
