I was really looking forward to X360 as my primary console, now I consider myself pretty average as far as hardware purchases (I did own all 3 consoles this gen and a psp) but I rarely adopt systems at launch with few exceptions like dreamcast. With the recent annoucement assuming the following where do you stand?
$399 X360 Premium package vs $399 PS3 Core System
MS doomed? The fragmentation of the X360 userbase with the harddrive as it is now non-standard, without next gen media support and most likely not as powerful overall.
Sony is still market leader
If its graphics: PS3 wins
If its games: PS3 wins
The fact that X360 doesn't have a killer app (Halo calibur) is really pushing me back onto the fence. Is there a silver lining?
