I went through the same but last year, being a fan since PS1 era, the commitment to PlayStation from my side has been huge, even though I still keep my PS5, I am making my cross platform purchases on PC and have not regretted it one bit, it was true that mods + better performance + access to some weird/indie games really make up for a great gaming system. I still would wish that Sony makes a comeback and learns from this mistake. The cycle of Cool Sony -> Arrogant Sony -> Humble Sony -> Cool Sony will always be there so lets just hope that PS6 is the one where they go back to the roots.
