I understand the stream quality was low but it was still a good indication. Not just the graphics but everything. The music was lacking and absolutely terrible, the ui looked worse, the ai might've been on rails - they weren't fierce, the sounds lacked punch, the guy streaming refused to show the cockpit view after numerous people asked, etc., imo Forza Horizon 2 just looks more ambitious.

Having played the hell out of Motorstorm and Motorstorm: PR, I am not worried about the AI lacking tenacity. Evolution games tend to be very kind and snuggly at low levels (where this guy was playing), and controller-snapping hard later on.

Even with the stream quality, the tires sounded awesome to me. Also, depending on the specific car, it's just as likely a more muted engine noise is how it's supposed to sound.

He's labeled it as the PS+ Edition, but that is just the Beta running before the initial update for the Beta is applied (which restricted/opened some of the events).

Maybe PS+ content will be the same, I don't know, but that looks like it's from the Beta.

You know it is not wrong to have console allegiances. I mean thats his/her priority but to feel the need to come to another thread and constantly downplay another console's game is pretty sad. I dont know why people do it. I dont want to name names in this thread but usually the clear suspect is someone who does not find a redeeming quality in any game released exclusive on another console. Some of them are there in this very thread and I usually ignore them but sometimes it is just sad that they are so obsessed about their console of choice that they almost get some kick out of finding faults and trashing other exclusive games.

Noticing there aren't just throttle lock penalties for hard impacts, but corner cutting too.
First race, he tries to dirt it through a medium right turn, and get's locked for a second for a corner penalty.

I feel like the internet conversation around PS4 games has become so toxic. I've noticed this on Reddit as well. The nitpicking is bordering on absurd at this point -- I mean, people are comparing an open-world racer to a track racer.

The car ends up facing backwards after the flip. Player then switches to external camera which, because the driver is now facing the wrong way, displays the opposite direction of the internal camera.

This DriveClub stream came out the same day as the Forza Horizon 2 demo, which is quite great btw, so people are naturally posting their comparisons.

The music is disabled by default because they're so confident in their engine sounds. But the game does have music. It'd done by a group called Hybrid. You'll just have to enable it in the menus.
