Wikipedia and Eurogamer ain't Sony, so please try again.Well, I'm just using the numbers that Sony mentioned on their site. So... welp!
Context, man. Closure of Bizarre Creation and other studios specialized in racers made them fear Sony wouldn't give them a chance after MS:A's launch failure. But Sony gave them another chance, so what happens now will depend on game sales and Sony's strategy (EvoS being its last incarnation of a first party studio dedicated to arcade racers). If I remember correctly, Evo already feared that they're gonna get closed after MS:A (interview with an Evo dev). So now, after DC.... hm, don't know, man.
My take is that this game will be a slow burner.
