they shipped direct to us at TRU from nintendo. they sent us 42

yeah, i think the bigger stores (BestBuy, Circuit City, department type stores) probably get their shit from a distribution center, but i would imagine smaller stores like EB just get it UPS'ed straight from the manufacturer.

I called up my EB and asked them that if the local Best Buy was breaking the date if they would follow suit. Unfortunatly they said they would not. Oh well. I'll just have to wait until Sunday. I'll have the FSU/UF game to keep me occupied tomorrow anyway. Go Noles!

Picked up a DS, SM64DS, and FtM at the Best Buy in/near El Segundo this evening. Took a while for them to bring them out of the back, but they were selling them to anyone who asked for one.

I know the Mario game is the one to get at any Nintendo system launch, but Feel the Magic really must be purchased with the system, as well. Awesome game.

I drove down there tonight, but they realized their mistake and were no longer selling them until tomorrow

I almost bought a DS at Sears today. They had some in their game cases and I got some clueless employee to ring it up for me. Sadly, when he scanned it, a message came up on the screen and he asked a superior who immediately pulled them from the shelves. What a tease.
