Dude destroys an entire gym at arm wrestling without resting between matches

It’s because he’s just using his body weight to leverage it. Not sure if you’re allowed to fully lean your body like that in real legit arm wrestling comps? He’s not using his arm for the most part.

Went down the rabbit hole of arm wrestling vids earlier this year, watching some Devon Larratt and this guy Schoolboy among others. I also found the heavy lean tactics odd at first, but it seems everyone does it, the rule is really you have to keep your elbow on the pad and thats about it. I have seen Devon basically hiding under the damn table using his foot to kick against it for extra leverage.

It's fair in competition and the bodybuilders are allowed to do the same, you need to get the upper hand before you're able to anyway. This kid just has great technique.

I know that using that technique is perfectly legal but i can't avoid to laugh when the sport is called arm wrestling but you need to put the weight of your entire body to win...why not only use arm strenght in you know, a sport called arm wrestling...

Someone should tell him about the western sport of football that only allows limited contact with the foot on the ball.

The guys hes going against are allowed to do the same, and some of them are legit arm wrestlers that know the game. He still dominated them all with zero rest and an injury.

I can't help but giggle at everyone saying he's not really using his arm, just his body weight... Brothers, spend some time at the table with people that know what their doing. You'll be singing a different tune.

Huh yeah pretty weird, of course you are most likely gonna win even against more ripped opponents if you lean/use your whole body in arm wrestle. We used to do a lot of it in highschool and it was always forbidden to use your whole body like that.

Arm wrestler here. He's doing exactly what he should be doing. Everyone there has been shown how to properly arm wrestle and are allowed to do the same thing... It's not easy, you have to use nearly every muscle in your arm, hands, wrist, shoulder, lats and traps at the same time. Armwrestling as you are saying and not following your hand down with your head, is very dangerous and can easily lead to breaks. Also, this is Schoolboy... He's a prodigy.

But he also beats professional armwrestlers that are far bigger than him/ripped and they know the tricks. Some people are just freakingly strong on top of technique.

While I never experienced a break I usually had to use ointment for my aching arm so I guess you are right lol

Being allowed to do the same and actually knowing that’s the best technique for an arm wrestler are different things though.

Dude is still no doubt strong AF but this seems like a technique over strength thing. Also left handed no doubt helps him a lot as most would never even try it with their non dominant arm.

god I’m glad no one snapped their arm though haha. 2 professional footy players had an arm wrestle on live Australian tv some years back and one guys arm snapped like a twig in the middle of his forearm!

It's prolly his weaker arm too. You might have a chance on that one, but he's a champ on the right.

And it's all about technique. Your body won't allow you to train all that much if you don't have it.

That's what I'm saying. He handily beats guys that make a living at arm wrestling, that also use leverage and are much bigger than him.

I horrific broke my arm in 2 places arm wrestling.

Don't do it kids, unless you're sure you'll either win or lose comfortably.
