Dunkey tries to install Black Ops 6 PC.

I was actually pretty surprised to have a really seamless experience booting it up for the first time on Xbox today. The MW reboot was a nightmare even on consoles with all the different packs and downloads and restarts required.

I do miss these days a bit...

I did this with NES all the time but I can't say I ever found it necessary on SNES. Am I crazy?

Why don't you game on PC?

Coworkers ask me and then when I mention issues like this. They always get defensive and say issues like this don't happen.

All power to PC gamers but I don't want to deal with shit life this.

Well you proved my point perfectly with your last paragraph. I'm 42 and I've seen decades of horseshit in regards to installation on PC.

You're argument is not persuasive
Ah I see...

You're in your forties and unable to click install. No wonder your co-workers are bemused.

Best stick with, and I'm guessing here, your ps5 my man.

I'd play the campaign. They tend to be quick entertainment for me. Sadly the €1 gamepass is no longer a thing.

This pretty much has been my experience with CoD on PS5 as well. Installing single player pack 1 to 3, then multiplayer pack 1 to 5 or something.

I spent an evening getting it to work.

I also tried to play Warzone, but just gave up after the whole download/installing proces got me some vague error. Troubleshooting online said to delete and re-download/re-install everything.

Nah I'm good.

Congratulations, you have now unlocked the ability to make a thread about how the PS5 is defined by this poor experience.

Nobody should be using COD games as a reference for what PC gamers have to deal with, COD games are pretty much the worst way to handle it on PC, the majority of other games are vastly simpler.

Simple isn't necessarily better. McDonald's is simple but I still prefer to cook.

I don't care about spending a few bucks every month to have a constant, reliable experience.
I pay zero bucks every month to have a superior constant, reliable experience. 🤷‍♂️

dude...thats like few bucks per month. I take that over multiple launchers and denuvo lol
It's just zero bucks to just double click a shortcut on desktop.

Lol at people using a Dunkey video as an excuse for paying twice for their online.

- It's HARD to install game, we need consoles and pay for online

- It's HARD to get up from couch and change disc, we need digital distribution. It's good that Cerny took out disc drive from pro!

Gamers are the 50% responsible for the sad state of gaming we now observe.

I played on PC as my main platform for about 10 years. Had all the latest hardware.

Then I got older. Wanted to play Wolfenstein 2 from Machine Games.

The game kept crashing unless I disconnected my second monitor.

That was so insane to me that such a thing would happen that I slowly went away from PC, bought all the consoles and now only play on my couch with an amazing TV.

Honestly, it was an upgrade.

Acts like a idiot to the tune of getting filthy rich with 7.52 million subscribers.

Yeah, I figured it's pretty much his shtick.

I've watched some of his videos in the past and remember him coming off as more humorous. Maybe this and the Liar's Bar videos were just misses for me.

is so fucking annoying to deal with these kind of "inconveniences". and when i think about it, then the full price of a game is completely unjustified. it's almost like a videogame being disposable.

This kind of answer confuses me.

"I had options before. One day one of these options slightly inconvenienced me. So i threw everything away and purposefully choose the alternative that doesn't even give me the options i was using before."

Like someone saying consoles are more convenient because some old obscure game needs some tweaks to run on PC, despite the fact said game isn't even available in said console.

And its always the same ones who get the latest hardware, at this point i feel its just people with obsessive compulsive disorders.
