Mandarin's pretty much the accepted language. Way better than Japanese, in fact, even Koei once asked in a survey what people preferred. Apparently, not enough people gave a shit about the alternate voice tracks.
I meant using only Mandarin as the language in Dynasty Warriors still wouldn't be historically accurate.

HEALING bodyguard?!? Sounds like the subgenerals in DW PSP. Gotta start using that one.

It's still a hell of a lot better than the english voice acting in DW3, Lyte.
I don't even remember the English voice acting in DW3. I barely even REMEMBER DW3. All these games are a blur.

I don't mind bad voice acting; actually, I enjoy it in video games. Makes them more entertaining.
Despite having owned DW4 and Empires at different points, I never really played much of them, and never finished DW3. I did play a large amount of Samurai Warriors (never finished the game with all the characters), and I aim to play DW5 all the way through.

I don't see how Japanese tracks are more athentic than English ones, people.
No one is saying that they are more authentic...just that the voice actors sound better. Then again, Bebpo said in another thread that the voice acting in the Japanese version wasn't the greatest, either, but to me even just the characters' battle cries sound better in Japanese, never mind the story dialogue.
Then again, I know some people (not this forum) who think Chinese is closely related to Japanese. :lol
Dude, where I live, ANYTHING Asian is automatically "Chinese" to people. :/
