E3 2009 Nintendo Conference Thread

boring...

but last year was much more painful.... this year is still extremely meh...
cammie is just not good at exciting an audience.

very few new games announced is the biggest problem.

This show is MUCH more what Nintendo needed this year (and what they SHOULD have done last year).

Basically just bouncing back and forth between casual/expanded-market games and traditional core titles.

Bingo. GAF's reactions:

Ooh, new Mario? Could be cool
*Very next thing isn't interesting to GAFfer*
zZzZzZzZ
*Wii Sports Resort shown*
Archery could be cool, but it's not in a hardcore IP. Trinten sucks!
*GS3 shown*
NINTENDO redeemed!
*Cammie appears. Goes back to casual stuff.*
Fucking worst conference ever

What the hell were you guys expecting? This balance is EXACTLY what Nintendo should be aiming for. How could you even compare this conference to last year's? Or call it the worst conference ever after last night's Ubisoft one? :lol

Pretty mediocre conference so far. I mean saying it's worse than Ubi's or Sony's in 2006 is flat out biased stupidity. But this isn't very good. Mario and Golden Sun were awesome. Wii Sports looks fun. But MS beat the hell out of them so far.

.....because you asked for it Reggie. Metal Gear Solid:Internets.

Well, this is a trainwreck. Still not as bad as Ubisoft, but man, it's disappointing.

Sony and MS to share the crown?

Because they will keep bitching, even if Nintendo announces 20new games, they will still bitch about something.

So why cater to a group of people that only complain and dont buy, when you can focus on casual games and sell fuckton of games.

But...those people don't give a crap about E3 or this conference. Those titles are better served by premiering on Ellen or The View or at the Gamestop manager's meeting.

New Warioware is exciting... but almost everything has been a sequel or retread this year (not that that's anything new). Bleh. 15 mins left.. BLOW US AWAY!
