I don't think people will be much excited about what Nintendo has to offer at this point.
Who is people?

At least we get great gifs each year.Pre E3- This will be the greatest ever
After E3- That was the worst ever
Every year like clockwork.
Bingo. I wonder how many people in this thread actually followed E3 back when this generation was announced? C'mon, let's not act like e3 is never exciting. The past two years are not every year.
I think I'm gonna have to bring the People's Elbow down on you.
Above all:

If announced at E3 2013 , don't expect the consoles till the end of 2014.
The debate about how more powerful they are over wiiU will be ongoing forever , just like SNES vs Mega Drive, Playstation vs N64 etc

I don't understand why E3 gets so much hate despite its "quality". I'm actually glad that it's still kicking and running. As gamers, we don't have that many shows/events to enjoy and it's nice to have one where we get to see new stuff every year.
I for one enjoy it for what it is and there's always some cool stuff among the shit. I don't get extremely excited about it, but I do like watching it.
You think after these last two years people would stop this shit

It's because E3 is becoming less and less relevant to gamers even though it is still billed as THE event for gamers. Now it's mostly about what's on the show floor because the conferences are all about who can suck the casuals off the hardest.
Microsoft will deliver.

GAF world. What fantasy world do you live in where people have actually been excited for any E3 in the past five years or so?
And also the worst.

I know its quite early to talk about E3, but I am excited for this one like no other E3. The announcement of Microsoft and Sonys next consoles are long overdue. This is probably the longest console generation ever. Seeing the next consoles unveiled will cause crazy meltdowns on GAF. Not only just the hardware but software and how the OS and the online are for both new consoles. And of course the launch games for both consoles. I am sure Nintendo will have some great software to show to counter the new console announcements.
If this isn't at E3 2013, I'm going to shoot my wad. I bet it's gonna be the first thing at the conference too.
Could be at the end. Reggie's "and one more thing..."

Are you ready for $599 consoles?
For Nintendo, 2012 taught me that their Nintendo Directs are far more exciting and informative than E3.
E3: Mostly games we already knew for Wii U and 3DS, followed by a dismal Wii U Nintendoland finale that put everyone off the game.
Nintendo Direct two weeks later: 3DS XL unveiled.
