E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

Also with something like StarFox they're still trying to find an external partner to work on the game. That's how early it is. They have the concept now they want to find someone to do the heavy lifting with Miyamoto telling how things should be. It's 2016 or 2017 title.

but where is ittttttt

i just want to see its beautyyyy

I want to achieve his levels of Japanese knowledge. Damn.

I want to believe that in 20 years there will be a Console Wars style book with interviews from him and Reggie about what it was like riding the Wii success wave and struggling with the WiiU's wet fart status. They must have so many good stories.

Guard would be such a great party game, surprisingly, as a single player (so far) game.

Multiplayer would also be great, though, perhaps with 3DSes, with like 4 other players controlling robots.

About what? I just don't get it. I thought people would be happy to see some semi-internal concepts Nintendo has cooked up. We never get to see those.

Miyamoto said in an interview with Kotaku that he is challenging his StarFox team to have it released in 2015.

Actually not sure if they're intended to be turned into standalone games. They're playing with concepts. Some can turn into minigames, others can show up in one of the full games in some form, etc.

I bet the people saying that project guard suck, would absolutely love it if it involved zombies, aliens or gritty marines with remote turrets for cameras.

Now give me Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Yup, presentation / screenplay is what matters not the underlying mechanics. And some people ignore anything that has the Nintendo logo in it automatically, it's embarrasing or whatever to associate oneself with teh kiddy.

Waste of their time. Need a bigger, deeper franchise to work with.

People would have said the same thing about Donkey Kong before DKCR was made.

Yes, it would be better for them to have Zelda but that's already being worked on in Japan so maybe next gen. Starfox would be a good intermediary product, hopefully re-imagined by Retro.

Anyone surprised that Miyamoto making Project Guard is forgetting that Miyamoto was the designer who came up with Pac-Man Vs. He has grown to really loves this type of experience. Good on him.

I love that Nintendo are giving a peek into their process. Previously the only place you could see this was at their behind-doors E3 events. I remember enjoying all the DS launch concept games in 2004.

EXACTLY. This is the point of the whole "Treehouse" idea at E3. They are opening up stuff we don't usually see and showing us stuff in development.

I feel like this Is the worse day of the year for me to be at work right now. All the Tree House stuff is available for streaming 24/7 right?
