Top comment on reddit (so, grain of salt) was from someone claiming to be at Harris' show last night, wherein he was talking about being clean.

Such a waste. If/when they release the last F&P podcast it'll be very bittersweet.

I can't stop thinking about Harris Wittels today. Yesterday, he was that funny guy from CBB, who was a big part of the reason why I started watching Parks and Rec. Today, he's gone and I'm bugged thinking about it. After a few great podcast appearances where he made me laugh so much...I just can't imagine what his friends and family are feeling. RIP Harris.

In less depressing news, this week's Never Not Funny with Andy Daly as the guest was phenomenal. Worth a listen if you aren't a normal NNF listener.

The 7/11 bit is amazing.

In more depressing news, the CBB panel for Wittels third foam corner was him, Ben Schwartz, and Sarah Silverman. Jesus Christ.

Really interested to see what we get from Scott tomorrow morning.

I'd say farts and procreation is basically a lock to run tomorrow, whether they were planning on running it yet or not, and a little speech from Scott before the ep starts. Gonna be a tearjerker for sure.

This is what I hope for. I really want to hear something new from Harris, one last time.

That episode really does get morbid. When Scott says, "Hot Tub Time Machine 2 did great business this weekend"...that's a really dark place.

To be totally honest, Scott was right to think that it's kind of a shitty episode, but given the circumstances, it's an amazing episode and I'm so glad he released it.

I don't think there's any chance that this won't be voted Number 1 in the 2015 Best-Ofs.

Getting away from Harris for just a little bit, I always appreciate it when Scott gets real.

He seems so effortlessly hilarious that it kind of shocks me when he exposes a bit of his true nature. It seems like he can be really self-critical and hard on himself.

Not that that's a rare trait for a comedian to have, but Scott's comedic persona is so light and effervescent that it catches me off-guard when he shows this other side of himself.

Listening to Scott talk about it was tough, you could hear him start to break down at the end. I don't think I'm ready to listen to this episode yet. Fuck.

I didn't really have too hard of a time getting through the ep itself. It's standard Farts & Pro nonsense.

I came to post exactly the same, I just can't listen to the ep. right after that.

So after listening to every episode of HDTGM a few times, I'm ready for more Earwolf (and Zouks.) Been listening to the CBB episodes with Jason but there's so many other episodes - what's everyone's favorites?

I would start with the best ofs. If you like the episodes featured on the best ofs you can go back and listen to the full episodes and seek out other episodes with the guests you enjoyed from the best ofs. Other than that, Andy Daly episodes are usually all top notch, Paul F Tompkins is great as well. The two Tim Heidecker episodes are also fantastic.

The best way to hop in is to scan the episodes and listen to any with guests who you are familiar with/know you already like. Since you listen to HDTGM you can check out any episodes with Jason Manzoutkas because you are already familiar with him, plus the episodes he is in are all pretty great!

honestly thought that removed from context this was the second best Farts and Pro. in 2 and 3 they tried to redo the stuff from 1 and failed. Which was undoubtedly funny as a sort of overall joke, but here the attempt to recapture anything is so halfhearted. just no-fucks conversation and terrible/hilarious characters. was dying at Fire Marshall Betty, at Ice Chris and scott and adam's "characters" during Ice Chris ("what?!" "hello?!"), at scott refusing to repeat a epithet he'd typed, and of course one more classic foam corner.

All of that only made more affecting by scott's intro. I'm with BertramCooper, it's always interesting to hear Scott open up and reveal that no matter how carefree his comic persona is, he works himself hard for the show and is very critical of himself and every episode (remember realizing this when those previously-unreleased Ed Helms and Will Forte eps came out). And his speech got at what draws people to podcasts in general and why there's been such an outpouring for Harris without ever becoming sappy. moving, honestly. motherfuckers want to laugh.
So basically to honour Harris we all have to masturbate while thinking of him? Have I got that right?

you have to remember to jack it to the scenario of 13 year old him lying on a sticky movie theater floor getting a beej through his boxer flap. no other scenario.

What's the story behind these? Looks like they came out before I started listening.

Scott's eulogy was devastating but the episode itself was totally incredible.

"What is my consequence" had me fucking rolling.

iirc they were just episodes that Scott thought were bad. So he held onto them for a while, then one week he dropped them both with intros about how he didn't think they went well and why.

the Forte one was pretty funny from what I remember. The Helms one not so much.

From what I remember for some reason Scott needed Helms to do a character but Helms was unaware he'd be doing that and he basically had to come up with a character on the spot, and it just didn't work out too well.

The latest CBB is legitimately great. The Foam Corner somehow getting even more disturbing at every turn and then turning into an actual conversation was a great start but even the scheduling emails amazing all around. Harris and Chelsea were right to call Scott out on him pooping on the bit.

With Scott's intro, the episode was a nice send off to Harris because it highlighted how uninhibited and open he was with comedy. I sincerely hope Harris' email is be filled with thoughtful dick pics.

I normally do all my podcast listening at work but I think I'll have to do the Farts and Rec one here at home. i'm gonna be a crying mess most likely.

Any ep with Nick Kroll. Especially with him and Jon Mulaney. Almost every single word that comes out of their mouth as Georgie and Gil makes me laugh.

Really want to try some of Uncle Cody's special water.
It's got potash!

Holy shit. Zardoz 2. Featuring June Diane Raphael.

EDIT: It's kinda crazy how when Jason is thrown into the mix I think June and Paul have almost no chemistry. :p (As shown by "How are you?" exchanges) I went through a good amount of episodes having no idea they were married. However, in these June and Paul episodes, they are very cute.
