And then the LORD David Bowie saith to his Son, Jonny Depp: 'Go, and spread my image amongst the cosmos. For every living thing is in anguish and only the LIGHT shall give them reprieve.'
"We know more about you than you'd like.........."

HAHAHA

The show has to end with Bono actually on the show now. It'd just be too much. What a sublime episode; and Scott on NNF to discuss this with Jimmy?! FUCK YEAH.

Hell yes to new U2. They were at the same shows I was at in LA and I'm bummed we didn't see them!

Will listen tomorrow. Hyped.

We were this close to having Adam Clay200lbs on the show.

As good as this week's episode of UTU2TM was, the new I Love Films may have been their best yet. One for true fans of the cinema.

The backstage with Bonobos story was pretty incredible. He really should have had T-Shirts for them though. Saving them for the show appearance, probably.

This week's episode of With Special Guest is actually brilliant.

The description sounds great.

So far I've been disappointed with almost all the WSG episodes featuring people I actually know and like. Not sure whether it's bad luck of the draw, or if it just highlights how good Scott Aukerman is at "interviewing" his guests.

I agree! They did a really great job. Not really a podcast, but a good idea.

Do I need to have watched Ex Machina to get it or does it have Ex Machina spoilies? I just rented that movie tonight so I don't know if I should just put the podcast off till tomorrow.

I have not seen it but the movie did come across my mind just from the commercials. I kind of doubt it really spoils anything unless the movie is really predictable. It reminds me of some Fallout audio logs or something.

I need a supercut of every time Scotty Auks does his loud fake laugh, and says "very good." Listening to an old ep:

Scott (on appearing on Entertainment Tonight): You know, I really thought ET was going to be there. I had two pocketfuls of Reese's Pieces.
Chelsea Peretti: Maybe he had to make a PHONE call.
Scott: HAHAHAHA. Chelsea, that's my kind of comedy.

Woah... I just listened to that one last night.

DAMN! I missed my chance to see HDTGM. I'm going to California the week that they're doing a live show (August 29th). It's already sold out. :( Oh well, I'll definitely hit up the UCB. Never been... what's it like?

Wish I lived there, I would go all the time.

yeah, watching the movie didn't add anything but it is the basic premise they used for the improv. Also, the movie had way less nudity than I assumed. I guess I just assumed if you are making a R rated psycho-drama about a female robot you are gonna show as much nudity as possible. Really disappointing in that department.

Earwolf got sold brehs

Wolf Den ep

http://www.earwolf.com/episode/adam-symson-and-jb-kropp-from-ew-scripps/

basically, Midroll Media (which "owns" Earwolf, Nerdist, Smodcast, the Bombcast, etc etc) got aquired by E.W. Scripps so Earwolf technically has a new boss-boss

probably means better advertising, more exposure, and doesnt affect content at all, so yay?

"Four words..."

Amazing callback. Lapkus might be my favorite guest.

She is seriously a treasure, and she needs a staring role in a major comedy movie or show. I know she's in Clipped but she's better than a TBS comedy. She's one of the funniest people ever, IMO. Just so consistently good.
