Almost broke down in the gym over CBB. "Do you want to experience pleasure like you've never had before, Scott?" LOL The team had to really try to hold it together this ep. They almost lost it too.

Had it not been for CBB mentioning Jurassic World I wouldn't have known it was coming out this Friday.

Did the studio forget to promote that? Where is my Triple T-Rex Burger from McDonald's with collectable cup?

Comedy Central won't let me forget about it. Pretty sure all weekend, every other ad they've aired has been a Jurassic World ad. I almost don't want to see it anymore, but if Lauren is in it, hmm.

Awesome CBB this week. It's insane that this episode is Middleditch's third CBB episode ever. He is the CBB MVP this year without a doubt.

Also, good HH episode this week. Hayes' transition into the Caitlyn Jenner discussion is excellent. Plus the food discussion is hilarious. Sean mentioning puppies and kitties made me buss up laffing in the middle of the subway.

Yep, HH continues to be great. I didn't say this last week, but I loved the Ross Mathews episode. The Aloha talk was amazing, and I thought Mathews was an excellent guest. He played on along really well, and intern Andy was great.

started watching Jupiter Ascending in anticipation of this week's HDTGM

oof this is pretty bad already

Yeah, it's just so upsetting from the get go, from James D'Arcy making out with that rubber belly, to him getting killed in the worlds fasted home invasion robbery, to Jupiter's mom completely fucking up her citizenship by having her born on a boat, just OOF.

I've been listening to HDTGM for like a year and have never been able to watch a movie in anticipation of an episode. Super pissed at myself. Changing that with this ep.

Yeah Mathews was really good. He really got the podcast and I enjoy any time the guest piles on the engineer or intern. Plus his reaction to Andy's podcast promo and Sean's response to Mathews's validation question was awesome.

Jupiter Ascending feels to recent for them to tackle on HDTGM, but it should be entertaining.

Oddly enough watched it last week. It was...alright? It wasn't terrible or great. Seems over ambitious and underdeveloped if anything. Feels like a strange adaptation of a book, even though it's not a book.

In other news: Even though it's not an Earwolf podcast, Call Chelsea is great this week. Tim Heidecker is there for the whole show and they play off each other really well.

I'm gonna check it out now. I liked CCP for a while then just stopped listening for no real reason, I might try to get back into it.

On the note of not-Earwolf but tangentially related, I enjoyed Sean on Will Hines and Anthony King's podcast about people's favorite niche scene/band/website. Sean talks about the Mountain Goats and it's cool to hear him tell how he discovered them and in general be so sincere. probably helps I also like the Mountain Goats.

Just finished Jupiter Ascending. I really enjoyed it. Good story and very cool visuals. I hope there's sequels because they've set up an interesting universe. Also Eddy Redmayne was great as Balem - so restrained yet menacing.

Finally a hearty congratulations to
Sean Bean for surviving for the entirety of the movie.
I don't believe that happens often.

Does anyone know if this was a take on a Dickens or Austen novel? It kept reminding me of a classic book but I couldn't remember which. Great Expectations?

Playing puppies and kitties had me crying. I love it when Hayes loses it when Sean goes off.

Working myself through the old CBB's one by one (up to 70). Holy shit Bob Doucca's poems and lists are incredible!

Didn't like him very much when i occasionally stumbled over episodes with him before but he's just awesome!

That was a stellar episode of CBB. These past three eps are easily in top 10 for the year. And we're just at the hump month!

And people giving Scott shit for some of his jokes will always be funny.

I have no idea why Neil Campbell isn't a big star. He kills it on CBB every time he is on. Also, today's HH with him is incredible. His, Sean's, and Hayes' lessons at the end of each podcast episode were hilarious. Plus, it is clear that Neil was a last minute addition to this episode, as Sean and Hayes asked the forum for popcorn gallery questions for Erin Whitehead and it is very obvious that Hayes' announcement of Neil in the first segment of today's episode was added later on.

I never see anyone mention Affirmation Nation, but I have been burning through eps like crazy. The first "season" is 144 three minute episodes, then it changes format and becomes more longer and more interview based. Seth Morris is so committed to the character it's amazing, and if you like lists, you're gonna love this: Several episodes are just lists.

The deeper your understanding of how pathetic Bob is, the funnier it gets!

Catching up on two weeks of Spont means double doses of PFT+JV and discussion of Jeremy Piven prayer hands. I do like this show a lot, I just wish the improv made me laugh as much as the monologue and conversation. Still in the midst of this live ep, Randi the Christmas (well, December 22nd) Dog traveling the cosmos was hysterical in last week's.

Eager to hear Victor and Tiny return again on CBB, not looking forward to Leggero...I enjoy Leggero as an actress a lot actually, never been down with anything that has her as herself however. Maybe she'll surprise and be awesome

I must know exactly what episode this appears in.

The Waiting Room at an Oil Change Place. Definitely top 3 sponts so far.

Though this reminds me, I meant to say my reason for not enjoying the improv as much is that the practical bumps are more glaring on the air than I think they would be watching live. PFT explains the sounds every episode, and every episode somebody loses track of where they are in time/location and steers the improv towards confusion. It's funny every once in a while, more often it's frustrating.
