I want to know what the policy is for trading in new/sealed games is? I want to trade in 2 sealed copies of GOW but I don't want to be ripped off.

tip: they dont give a shit if it's sealed. I traded in a sealed ATV 2 and the guy opened it (took off the shrink wrap), put the price and put it on the stand :lol

edit: blockbuster generally gives a LOT of credit for games.

I just did this the other day. I got $68 for Ace Combat 5. As long as BB carries the game I think they will exchange for store credit at the full value, whatever that is.

I never deal with EB. GameCentre and Microplay are other stores, but I'm not sure how much better they are. I buy almost all my stuff at GameCentre now though and they're much more with it for releases and prices.

I broke my brother's copy of Made on DVD. I just didnt want to pay to replace it, so I gave it to my mother and told her I bought it at walmart, when I opened it, it was broken, and that I couldnt find the receipt.

She went to walmart with that belief and she managed to get 25.99 in store credit; the full value of the DVD!.

Now, if you can do that with a DVD I broke that was never even purchased at walmart, imagine what you can get for a sealed game.

Walmart, dude. They dont care.

Walmart, in canada, if make a big enough stink, will give you cash on an new returned item sans receipt.

Trust me.

They were from the Toys r Us sale, so I still made an 80 dollar profit on 7 games.

You could always wait til after christmas. Receipt-less returns are probably pretty common at that time, at the very worst you may end up with credit instead of cash.

I feel the same way about the games just pdo and kameo but i am a little hesitant about the rollercoster that is pdo

i am probally just gonna trade in my madden or nfs to wal-mart if they don't take it gonna try futureshop or bestbuy....

They didn't paid for the game. They will open it and sell it as a pre-owned one.
That's the way they can make the more money out of it. Also, there's some really happy
customer who's gonna buy a nice and shiny perfect pre-owned game.

I passed by EB tonight, my friend works there, the best price she can give me was 24$ which is A LOT considering that the manager there only wanted to give me 17$ for a sealed copy of GOW, I told him to Screw off and the look on his little asian face... PRICELESS! Blockbuster was offering 51$ lol which is really good, but my friend told me to wait for the manager he might offer me a bit more.

While at EB though I passed by the preowned section and I seen Armored Core 3 the exact copy I traded in selling for 47.99! They gave me 10$! I went to a mom&pop shop and they had the game selling new sealed for 19.99$, also what's with EB not doing pricematchs with mom&pop shops?!

On an off note, what is Kameo all about?? I heard some really bad things about the game a couple of months ago. Now I've seen some recent videos and the transforming into cool little monsters it looks cool. Taking on HORDES of ORCs was pretty exciting I guiess but thats pretty much all I know about the game. Can anyone else fill me in?
