I have been kind of out of the loop when it comes to gaming lately but wtf is that?

you can only by the 600 or 700 dollar bundle...lol WTF?

are all retailers doing this? or just the websites?

where is the "peace" at the end of your post?
 
Just plan to go to Wal-Mart or Target or some other big box retailer on release day. I'm sure places like Sears, K-Mart, etc. will have a few too. Don't play the game specialty retailer's game.

yea i just think its pretty fucked up. like gamestop only has a 2000 dollar bundle available?

I bet the margins on the accessories is high too, especially the cheepy 3rd party ones. IIRC, the number of systems a store gets in the second shipment is dependent on how many games per console sold so the bundles ensure a higher tie in rate.
 
Definitely, they love when they can get that madcatz crap out the door. I'm sure accessories are huge too.
