Ebgames.com X360 Bundles....

For the amount of crap they pile into those system bundles and the final price you're paying, I think it's safe to say BOTH are Retard Packs. :p

Whoa, Perfect Dark is going to be done at launch? AND Kameo? Wow.

In other news, the fact that it will cost someone $500 to even order the system from them is absolutely ludicrous...anyone who doesn't buy it at Wal-Mart/Best Buy or wherever is an idiot if this is what they're pulling.

Shouldn't they take DOA4 out of that bundle considering it's not coming out until December?

Says who? I only remember them saying it would be a Japanese launch title, nothing else

jesus,

So if a game slips from Launch, and a medicore game gets bumped up to launch... GUESS WHAT TIMMY IS GETTING IN HIS XBUCK BUDDLE PACK!?!??!?! :lol

Wow... ridiculous. 4 freaking games... just ridiculous.

* Xbox 360 Premium System = $399.99
o Xbox 360 Game Console
o Wireless Controller
o Combination High-Definition Component and Standard A/V Cable
o 20GB Hard Drive
o Ethernet Cable
o Headset
o Universal Media Remote
o Xbox Live Silver
o Xbox Live Gold 30-Day Trial
* Perfect Dark Zero Limited Edition = $59.99
* Dead or Alive 4 = $59.99
* Kameo: Elements of Power = $49.99
* Project Gotham Racing 3 = $49.99
* Extra Wireless Controller = $49.99
* Play & Charge Kit (for extra controller) = $19.99
* Rechargeable Battery Pack (for included controller) = $11.99

Total = $699.92 Seems about right. It really sucks they're forcing 4 games and giving no choices.

It would not be real bad if you had to buy 4 games but you have to buy 4 games of their fucking choosing.

Fuck you, you fucking pinko bastards.

Did I say fuck you?

$700 bundle - $400 game system - $50 extra controller - $20 Recharge Pack - $12 battery pack = $212 for 4 games

$212 / 4 games = $54.50 per game

Looks like at least a couple of the included games are expected to be over $49.99 MSRP. $60 for DOA4 and $55 PDZ "Limited Edition" would be my bet.
At least they stuck the REAL remote in that Ultimate bundle...
I think they just botched the picture up, and the remote is the gimped one that comes with the premium pack. Other non-premium pack accessories are listed as separate bulletpoints.

Something I've never quite understood about bundling at US retailers - you can buy the system seperately right? With your own games?

I don't think I've ever been forced to buy a bundle here at any launch.

Yes it is.

No, it isn't.

The "Xbox 360" normally comes with the "Xbox 360™ Media Remote":

Not, the "Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote" shown here:

gofreak your avatar isn't showing up. what's wrong with imageshack? Is my avatar visible?

I don't know...getting locked into those games doesn't seem like a great idea. PGR3 should turn out fine, but the others could be up being lame, boring, and shallow. People would be better off buying the system seperate, and then choosing the games they want based on the information we have then.

$700 for 4 games. Thats $175 per game!

Its stupid of EB to try and bundle in another wireless controller. Thats just pushing it a little too far.

And I really really hope UK games aren't £50 - that'll make it really painful listening to you guys complaining about $60 games.

You know it'll sell like hotcakes, even at $700. They could have made it $1000 and they'd still run out of them.

It's not showing up cos I'm a lazy bum - it's been down for days and I haven't been arsed to fix it (can't find the avatar i was using on my HD). I've noticed lots of other imageshack error pics in avatars recently, though, maybe they reduced their bandwidth availability. Yours is showing fine for me though.

Now this is interesting, as I preordered my Xbox 360 Non-Retard pack on Sunday, and they swore up and down that no bundle was required, so I'm hoping they'll honour that. (They've done so for similar stuff in the past).

You can, but EBgames and Gamestop are always pulling this bundle crap. There are plenty of retail stores that could care less if you just buy the system. Of course they want you to spend some money on games at their store, but it isn't forced.

Jesus fucking Christ. I can almost understand such a huge bundle for the premium pack, but the core pack? Seriously EB is going to sell like, five of those. Chances are, if you're buying the core pack, YOU DON'T HAVE an additional $300 to spend! That one flew RIGHT OVER EB's head.

Oh, and I'd say it's 95% likely that these are the bundles you people who were "lucky enough" to pre-order will be forced with. Peace of my mind my ass.
