Gamestop is truly out of their minds. Who the fuck wants a 1 year product replacement plan? And five games...
I'm really dreading when the gamestop/eb merger takes place (partially for shit like this, mostly because gamestop's used game prices are ridiculously higher)

I just called my friend who manages the newest EB in town and he said I will not have to buy a forced bundle in his store on launch day. He said I can just pay off my pre-order and walk out with only the system if that's what I want.

This is insane.
It seems pretty apparent that Xbox 360 is going to hit like a muther fucking 20 ton megaton bomb (in a mega sales way, not la bomba
) this holiday. No price seems to be too high to stop the presales from going like gangbusters, whether it be the US or Europe.
I guess Microsoft knew what the hell they were doing. People don't seem to blink for a second.
Not that these bundles will constitute a significant percentage of overall sales, but the fact that they have enough confidence to list them tells me that their expectations are otherworldly, and they've got the benefit of knowing product allocation, launch titles, and existing preorders, so I don't think it's a shot in the dark.
Sony better hope that people's bank accounts regenerate pretty damn quickly.

Whoever invented bundles should be shot, where can I find hires pictures of Xbox360 boxart?
I just walked over there ( I work right next door to it, which is bad for my wallet) and the guy confirmed again that they aren't going to do budles on pre orders...apparantly they are doing very limited preorders and the one next door to me has already stopped taking preorders.border said:I mean that as we speak they are looking up your phone number so they can call and ask if you want the $800 bundle or the $1000 bundle
