Haven't a lot of high profile multiplatform games on Xbox been outselling the PS2 versions?

I don't think it is telling of much more than people who own both systems choose to buy the Xbox version for "obvious" reasons.

Nope. With the exception of ESPN NFL2k5 where the Xbox version was almost equal to the PS2 version in the first month , PS2 versions still outsell their Xbox counterparts.

yeah, I think that when NPD numbers come in the PS2 numbers will be above XBox numbers. That said, there is a general 3rd party trend towards XBox in terms of mainstream software, so the gap should be closing...

Yeah I hadn't been following the numbers, and with a quick scan of the NPD thread I can see that nothing outsold the PS2 counterparts.

That distinction still remains to GC version of SCII ;)
