Dropped Power Glove and LRAD at a party this weekend (mixed one after the other) and people went berzerk

These are generally good, but the only "great" one I think is Power Glove. The other ones are good but not really memorable IMO. I can see Power Glove really slaying during festivals though.

Knife Party just released their third EP called 'Haunted House'. It's more (hard) electro house then dubstep this time.

Only track I'm a little disappointed with is Internet Friends VIP. It's not bad but just a little bit disappointing, I'd rather have had a new track. Apart from that a very enjoyable and solid EP.

Edit: huh, I didn't see Kccitystar post! Oh well, it's a solid EP that's worth at least two mentions.

New Knife Party is brilliant. Power Glove and EDM Deathmachine especially.

Kind of a drive by poster, but how was Flux Pavillions latest EP Blow the Roof received in here??

Pretty enjoyable in my opinion, I really liked Blow The Roof / The Scientist / I Still Can't Stop.

I'm hoping EZoo has a few more surprise announcements, coupled with some more niche DJs in the house and prog realms... Danny Howells in the Sunday School would make me go crazy I think.

I agree, EDC NY's lineup seems a little lackluster compared to EZoo, but honestly the fact that I'm seeing Prydz again pretty much makes up for anything else I might be feeling about the lineup. There are some good acts to be had though: Maceo Plex, Gareth Emery, Carl Cox tent (possible Cirez D set??), Arty, Porter Robinson, Nervo, Richie Hawtin. I think it'll be alright.

Speaking of which I can't believe it's basically a week away! So psyched to take a day off work and bask in the sun.

i think most of this duo's output is pretty meh, but that 1995 ravestyle breakdown at 2:35 in EDM Death Machine is pretty sweet. i'd love them to explore more of that sound.

serious question, doesn't anyone get tired of these tracks that switch genres like 5 times in 5 minutes? nothing is allowed to go longer than a minute; there's no development, no groove, it's just drops and time signature changes every 45-50 seconds. sounds like someone skipping through their MP3 collection.

I've seen Dash Berlin so many times but he's consistently good, and I imagine most of my friends will want to see him. However I've never seen Seven Lions live, so I'm leaning towards that. I may end up watching him alone.
