Registration Period

Registration Period Begins 1/10 6AM PST and ends 1/20 6AM PST.

Network Test Schedule

Session 1: Feb 14th, 3am to 6 am PT
Session 2: Feb 14th, 7pm to 10 pm PT
Session 3: Feb 15th, 11am to 2pm PT
Session 4: Feb 16th, 3am to 6 am PT
Session 5: Feb 16th, 7pm to 10 pm PT[/hr]
 
Rumors say that this game is either 3-player or 1-player, but not 2-player.
Whoever gets in, please test 2-player mode.
Because if it doesn't support 2-player mode, I can't see myself supporting this game.
It would be such an unimaginably stupid idea to support 3 - but not 2 - players, that I just can't see the game lasting longer than a month or so, so I won't bother trying it.


And I say that as a person who considers FROM to be the best company in the business, nowadays.

Unfortunately, they confirmed multiple times, they game doesn't support 2-player mode.

The thought did just occur to me that they might let you bring in a friend (aka coop) and then pair up with a rando.
I guess that will work, but still... it's pretty lame.

(To be clear, I have no idea if that's actually possible.)

You really can't see this game lasting more than a month? I think most people will play this single player anyways.
 
I was very excited for this when they first announced it but after finding out has Battle Royal mechanics it kinda turn me off from the game.

To me one of the best point of Elden Ring was taking my time to explore at my own pace but with this you have to rush through to get gears in order survive the boss fights just not my idea of fun time.

I prefer to go spoiler-free when it comes to FROM games. As such, it is entirely possible I am out of date and misunderstanding things.

My understanding, however, is that this is sort of like the Chalice Dungeons expanded, in that it's a rogue-like/boss-rush type of game, featuring randomized-ish levels with randomized-ish bosses; plus the occasional PUBG-circle. It apparently supports 1 player or 3 players, but not 2.
To me, that seems like a bad decision, so I hope I am mistaken.
If my understanding is correct, I don't see it having much longevity unless the randomization is Diablo 2-levels of intricate. I don't see that happening.


I'm hoping that, at the very least, a friend and I can team up and then invite a random person to join us. I still don't really like the idea, but at least it's better than playing by myself or having to get two friends to play with me at the same time.
If I'm not able to just play with one friend at a time, I do not see this game lasting for long.
 
I got three invites after signing up with 8 emails. So about a 50/50 shit. I'll have 2 codes comes the 11th if anyone needs them. I registered for PlayStation btw.

Hey Kings, I'd be interested in a code since I'm actually interested to see how this plays based on the fact that it's more "immediate" when it comes to the gameplay (ie, no builds etc) and I don't know whether I should get it or not since I was not the biggest elden ring fan...
