Started playing it a week ago after finishing DS3 and Sekiro is definitely a harder game.
DS1/3 difficult setting would be great.

This really looks like the culmination of everything they've done before.

RPG elements and varied builds + dark medieval fantasy aesthetic of the Souls games.
Faster combat of Bloodborne and Sekiro.
Increased mobility and stealth mechanics from Sekiro.
And now in an open world with even more stuff like mounts.

I really hope they manage to pull it off.

There is probably no "next-gen version", it will be basically the same game at higher res and frame rate, better textures, some visual effects etc.

They developed the game for years with PS4/XOne in mind, there is no way they have a proper next-gen version ready as well at launch.

As good as it looked, I certainly prefer FROM's art direction and aesthetic. I enjoyed playing Demon's Souls in 60 FPS, but there was definitely something lost in the translation.

Watching this trailer again - I can't really understand how anyone is disappointed this looks like a straight up amazing videogame, the open world with that aesthetic and dark souls/Bloodborne esque gameplay? I dunno man this looks better as a game than really anything upcoming so far
