Not too sure what GRRM is adding to this yet? Some of that dialogue seemed snappier than usual Souls fair but some of it just seemed in line with the norm. Definitely not Game of Thrones quality

Yeah. It looked good, but I was expecting something a little different. If you had shown me that trailer without telling me what it was, and told me it was Dark Souls 4, I would have absolutely believed it.

I need to see more, but I hope it's not just another Dark Souls in all but name.

Very true, Demon's Souls looks good but in terms of art direction From Software has moved far beyond both the original and the remake. Art direction trumps graphic fidelity.
